Thank you so much Connie, I really really enjoyed watching you create this box and lid. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
This is such a great video, Connie! You should remake it with an updated version....It's 10 years old, but oh, so useful!!!! Every time I make a set of gift cards, I have to come back to "remember" how to make it. Thanks so much!!!
Thanks entirely to you Connie, I've just made my first perfect box. Many thanks for your wonderfully clear, concise, brilliant tutorial. Best wishes from Marion in the UK.

Marion, I really appreciate your sweet words. I am glad this was so helpful for you.
Wow finally I found a video that explains how to figure out the measurements for ANY size box! Connie is simply fabulous!!!! So unbelievably talented :)
I know this is an old video, I just want to say thank you. I watch some other sites and have asked how to do a box step by step in order to get the measurements needed. I did not get any answers from any of the sites. It is almost as if they are afraid if you learn the basics you will not watch them any more. Being frustrated, I just kept looking, I found you today, I am now a happy camper. Also this has the bonus of the shim. So, thank you for sharing what many of us need to know/learn, as many of the comments suggest. You have a new subscriber. Happy Holidays!

Hi Connie - I know this is an old video but you saved my life. I made a box card that doesn't fit in any envelope and this came to the rescue. I just LUV what you do for us!!!
Connie, I must say I just found you fairly recently and have become addicted to your videos! I started out with the first viceo of flash cards, on to #2, and many of your cards that I've photocopied for CASing! Your videos are very clear & informative - without a lot of clutter. Great going from someone who's a little late to the party!
As always, another great tutorial! Thank you! 😊
Love your gift to your daughter. Very cute & the box is great too!!! TFS

Brilliant. Thank you so much. Off to make a box now for my Great Granddaughters gift.
I made a shim for my Martha Stewart score board and it works great. I did have to change the measurements a bit. I love this tutorial. It has come in so handy! Thanks!

Jean, I am glad you like it.
Great way to make boxes, I'm having a problem keeping them stuck together though. Have tried all kinds of tape, doesn't seem to hold no matter how much tape I use. Could you suggest something strong that won't come apart. I make jewelry and like to make custom gift box.
Great video

Hi Connie, thanks for all of your wonderful box tutorials. I did want to ask you if you could do a tutorial on how to determine paper size for a tall box. I am math challenged, so I am not sure if I used your formula correctly for making custom boxes. I would really appreciate your help. "Hugs" Dorothy
Great video. Can I ask how is the board used in the video called?
Can you tell me the name of the board you are using in this video? I don't know what it's called and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Great content btw.
sorry sent too soon! if I want to do a clear lid what material is best to use many thanks
I retried it and it showed the whole thing but of course I had sent you this post....sorry my bad lol. Love your vids and inspiration. I still think you should make a dvd and sell it :)
I have watched a video similar to this, thought it was your tutorial! However it had a double edged for extra strength. If anyone knows who made that tutorial I would love to know where to find it. Thanks in advance!
