I use to see shoe shine stands in every airport and many business lobbies, not any more. rarely see them anywhere. glad people are making these videos and lett us know where the few great ones left are... Its becoming a lost art profession unfortunately...

I too have rarely seen any shoe shine stands anymore. I miss them. When I was in the military I'd get my boots shined once a week, because I was lazy and it was relaxing getting them shined, $5 plus I'd toss in a tip, great value.

now, this man knows what he's doing and doing it well!

I have seen the other 3 short ones. 2 were really poor jobs, and the one in which you are wearing these same shoes was good. But this man know what he is doing. You can tell you'll get a good shine, because his own shoes are shined well, and they are good shoes as well. Plus he used an application of clear polish over the black. Nice!

At the end of world war two , there were ex servicemen shining shoes all over Europe for the occupation forces . if its one skill the military teaches you that translates really well into civilian life , it's how to shine shoes and boots .

Had all the dogs in town following him I bet .

Well that is Not yet The New York SPIT SHINE , he used leather cream , OK , the Kiwi Polish i suposed And brush It , Ok but the finger are suposed to move on circuls Nice And easy Not so fast to bring out the SHINE after that the Neutral Polish with the two finger And them with a peace of(that's the secret) A old Bath towel you do the AMAZING finish !

Probably not good for the shoe - it all depends on the products he is using. Silicone is shiite. So are other resins too.

There is nothing incredible about this,shoes already had a preexisting treatment and shine. When I see a pair of $ht kickers that are dirty from the get go and come out shiny,thats worth watching,this one is nothing but clickbait.
