Came out nasty. Definitely gonna study this video over and over just to master another way of fading. Goal is to master every step and technique to doing a fade. Great video
Tapers have been a struggle for me as a beginner for the exact reasons you mentioned. I’m getting better though and this system of blending before moving on helps a lot! I would always get lost when going back to blend. Appreciate the tips bro!
Thanks. And yes this is where i struggle. When someone says taper fade i get nervous but im working on it. Helpful video. And u always been my go to as a male barber. God bless 🙌
By far this has been the best explained video for tapers 👍

Yo Dre.... I have a question: Have you ever done, or yet, had a client with a natural aging bald spot? Were you able to fade with it or create a style? Can you make a video for us older fellas who once had full set of hair? We use to have fades back in our day...thanks Bro!
Clean bro 💥

How do I get my hair to have bangs like that
dope taper 🔥
I’ve only cut hair in my journey 1 times and that was last week and it was a taper. For me a taper is sorta easy just because it’s a small space to work in it worked out for me

Size 8 and make sure you wear a beanie like a winter hat so it can flatten your hair Thays what I do but I only wear the hat for abit

I swear whenever I am your town ik where to go bro! 💯
😍
😍😍😍
Thanks for the video really crispy bro, but I had a question why am I having so much difficulty with my wahl senior to take out the hair? I have to go so much times on it and always have spots that are fuller when doing the guideline for example : With the 1 guard left side is light than the right side I push really hard to the skin to have the same length to the right (something I noticed when I did my fade today) and I know for a fact it is not due to bulkyness cause I remove it first to make the process easier (with the 1.5 guard, and the blades are aligned correctly and zero gapped*) so yeah I don't feel like it really cuts compared to you when you do that second guide line 1:38 it feels so easy and smooth. While for me I see the hair going into the blades but almost nothing happens and sometimes I dig in and cut too much.. that's why I have to go their at least 20 times no joke. One cut takes minimum 2 hours (when I cut my self and yeah I do have patience) and I don't really like the results PS : If anybody can give me an answer would really appreciate that cause it's been hard for me to find an answer... maybe it has to do with my blade? if is how to fix that without paying a new one?

So at this point, if you ask a barber to "taper" the sides of your hair, do they just understand that to mean this haircut? A temple taper?
