Tapers have been a struggle for me as a beginner for the exact reasons you mentioned. I’m getting better though and this system of blending before moving on helps a lot! I would always get lost when going back to blend. Appreciate the tips bro!

Thanks for the video really crispy bro, but I had a question why am I having so much difficulty with my wahl senior to take out the hair? I have to go so much times on it and always have spots that are fuller when doing the guideline for example : With the 1 guard left side is light than the right side I push really hard to the skin to have the same length to the right (something I noticed when I did my fade today) and I know for a fact it is not due to bulkyness cause I remove it first to make the process easier (with the 1.5 guard, and the blades are aligned correctly and zero gapped*) so yeah I don't feel like it really cuts compared to you when you do that second guide line 1:38 it feels so easy and smooth. While for me I see the hair going into the blades but almost nothing happens and sometimes I dig in and cut too much.. that's why I have to go their at least 20 times no joke. One cut takes minimum 2 hours (when I cut my self and yeah I do have patience) and I don't really like the results PS : If anybody can give me an answer would really appreciate that cause it's been hard for me to find an answer... maybe it has to do with my blade? if is how to fix that without paying a new one?
