Ciss install done ??? Does cartidge prints unlimited ? or does the cartidge got failure after mentioned page count?

Best video regarding to CISS system

Ithe music is apropos cause this damn CISS life is a mysterious, frankenstein-ish procedure. But I've watched a gang of these CISS vids and this is the first that drilled holes in the side for the tubes. This should solve my problems with constant jammed cartridges from hitting the tubes. Thank you.

Hello You said you have used it for 5 months, have you checked the printer if ink leaks because that is the problem I have about installing ciss or refilling ink cartridges. What about air bubbles in the pipe?

I have following doubts, if you can help me with: Q.1) Placement of Ink Tank:-- Should the ink tank be place at the level of the printer, above it or below the level of the printer. I suppose below is a definitely no here as the ink flow in cartridge will not be possible if the ink tank is below the surface level of the printer. "So should the ink tank be above the printer or at the same level on which printer is placed???????" Q.2)Print quality of the aftermarket refill ink:-- Print quality of most of the aftermarket inks that are filled in the CISS system are very faded and dull. Please suggest the best quality aftermarket refill ink(If its only sold in your area, will you be able to ship some stock for me). If not, Can I use original refills bottles of other companies like canon, or original HP refill inks like HP GT51 and GT52 Q.3)Rubber plugs on Ink Tank :-- There are four rubber or plastic plugs for four ink containers. Please confirm if they are supposed to be closed or open during the printing operation? Q.4) Printing frequency:-- Is it really mandatory to print at least one b&w and color page daily so that the ink in cartridge do not dry and clog the cartridges Than you

1. The bottom of ink tank should be at least at the same height or above the cartridge (UPDATE! - not above but slightly lower or exactly at the same level of cartridge ink holes otherwise it's gonna create overpressure and the ink will be dripping from printhead and it's gonna color insides of the printer ), so no bubbles or air come inside, make sure rubber cartridge plugs are air-tight as well; if it's below, it's gonna flow back a little bit, thats why it's needed to use syringe to blow air to ink tank to make it work/release air - EDIT: i did that and it's detrimental, the ink will overflow (printhead dripping) from the cartridge when already air-tight installation - fix black color ink with sucking from printhead and refill the container; cant do for colored, only maybe using needle and syringe and suck each color separately from filling holes and refill given tanks; just add the proper amount of ink into tank and preserve the tank on the same level as cartridge. 2. Experiment, make sure you use the closest inks to original, or at least to what you used before, no experience at my side. 3. After CISS is installed and not using printer for the whole time, close all of the wholes with rubber plug - in total 8 holes. when printing small holes are open; when filling, close the small hole, whilst big hole forthe ink is open and start pouring ink into a tank. 4. no, once per month-two would be sufficient with color; if clogged use suction tool repeatedly. To no avail, put cartridge it into mildly warm water for 5 minutes, then suck out with vacuum tool, repeat steps until it works, print test page and also clean the print head with printer software after it's unclogged make sure the ink tank is at least 1/3 always full.

What if every time pipes gots air blockages after 2 to 3 days of usage?

Ciss kit installed and works perfectly but after a couple of months the HP stops printing the problem is not with the cartridges but HP blocks the cartridges that are being re-used. And no amount of printer resets does the job. I have HP desk jet 3830, and I haven't found a solution to that. Ultimately to print I had to buy new cartridges after which it started printing normally. Now my question is how does one clear the ink level memory from the printers motherboard ???

They are air holes and we seal it so the cartridges dont have any as our ink tank have them now

yes, you have to seal other hole as it ensures suction efficiency, you wont suck air but instead ink, make sure the hole are air-tight.

I got your kit. But two items missing. 1)Ink stopper 2) 6 caps to block the spare holes in the catridges . 4 in black one and 2 in color catridge, while give some spare. Namboothiri

I have a HP 2050, however at the ink tubes part of the ink is broken (no full ink flow). The ink is unable to flow to the cartridge. How do I solve this problem ? I suppose I'm using the same configuration with yours since my CISS also has four square thingy attached to the CISS .

get a universal ciss kit ... make sure it includes all the proper accessories like plugs and ribbons tubes for the colors to pass ...other wise its all the same ..i think the only thing that varies afterwards is the size of the ink tank

use a stopper over pipe. When you need to print you must turn on ink flow otherwise stop it.
