    Great video! I moved to SW FL just over a year ago just in time for Ian to welcome us to FL and we’ve spent the last year rebuilding our home. I found you and your channel a year or so ago and really enjoy watching and learning. Now it’s time for me to get back to fishing and I’m wanting to learn to catch more Pompano. I’m learn a few techniques here and enjoying the video as always. Keep up the good work and thanks.

Got a new jigging boat set up now. Let me know if you want to go or go flounder gigging. Love your vids. Great to see people happy doing what they do.

    Great you can share with others! Seems like everyone wants the inside scoop but no one wants to share it with those looking to experience the same joy. People in the fishing community really ought to support the sport of fishing rather refrain from helping others discover good places to fish. It’s better to give than to receive!

    So I'm assuming you don't want to tell "US" where your fishing spot is? I'm over in St Augustine so I really doubt that I'm going to raid it anytime soon! 😂🤣 Nice video though for a change from the last couple. But those Lady Fish that you caught a few times were freaking huge! Someone somewhere has to do some kind of a catch and cook with those things, I'm sure there's some way you can prepare it to make them half decent, a lot of meat on a big one might make a difference. Though thanks for the info bro, keep'em comin'. I appreciate all that you do! God bless!

    Hey JC, I've watched this video before...probably 10x lol. It came back up on my KZread feed again, so I couldn't resist watching it once again. What a bang-up beautiful day, my friend. However, I noticed something new/different. Hope you don't mind me asking... your loop knot looked like it was like 6-8 inches long. When I tie mine, it's maybe 2 inches. Do you find that your hook up ratio is better with the longer loop? I'm just curious. Gotta pick your brain for another tool to put in my box. Knowledge is key. Thanx!!!

  • @RadReelingFishing

    @RadReelingFishing

    Жыл бұрын

    I experiment with the length of the loop knot if I'm not getting any hits. I fished the jetties last year and there was a guy catching Pompano right next to me with a large loop knot. When I changed mine to match his I started catching Pompano.

    Use different weight sizes depending upon how swift the current is. The idea is to keep it bouncing, dragging or rolling on the bottom. Pomp tips here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/e4GeyqmJm8rLedo.html and here kzread.info/dash/bejne/jIp42NWzcazFpZs.html
