I prefer to have my topper on it, but then there's nowhere to store it, We travel with it on the settee and put it on the dash when camping. We do have three stools, they are the telescopic type. We also have two holes in the board to pull it out with.

I convert mine, same sort of method, but i got some red wood ply 1 inc from maxwells same shade of motorhome wood,, i slightly curved the wood,& On the bottom side of wood, i glued the off cuts to slot my legs into x2 legs with bridge per set of legs frount mid rear, & i keep in the rear storage, i also purchased a mattress as its still too hard even with a topper on, so ends up a proper bed, same comfort as the drop bed, would have been so easily Made from the manufacturer this extra edition , this was the 1st thing that came to mind, but this is trivial to the engineering of this well designed motorhome as they are so hard to find & my 0ne & Only choice as i looked at lower grade lighter motorhomes that makes me so feel cramped on sitting on top of each other as the width from driver to passenger seat so much wider motorhome 🌺, so well done on your conversation hopefully the stools doesn't make a noise brilliant , 🌺 would liked to have been accepted on the A7300 GROUPS, as i could have posted, what i have done upgrades etc,

That would be interesting to see how you have done that, and yes the A7300 for us are the perfect design. We do keep looking but still haven't found anything that we like as much.
