It's very hot here in Jersey. We're in Monmouth County near the water. We have a Polaris pool cleaner right now but yours looks awesome! We got a new liner 2 summers ago. Now we're having a new pool fence installed as well as a new roof, always something. I love the bar cart. I made Tiffany's recipe on Charlotte Grove Farmhouse for July 4th. It was so similar but with the addition of white chocolate pudding. I added blueberries too. Nice video, thank you for sharing. Stay cool, get in the pool! ❤

Everything is beautiful! It’s 94 degrees in Charlotte North Carolina today with no breeze! I love the idea of the lemonade outside but if I did that here ants would be all over it within 15 min! But I love it!!!

I make a cake with angel food cake, vanilla pudding, frozen strawberries and fresh. Like to use the defrosted juice of frozen strawberries to moisten cake. It's a family hit.

Very hot here in Va also. We did get a little shower of rain yesterday. The lemonade looked so good. I’m going to get some of that liquid Stevia. I love that pound cake you used in your trifle but I usually use angel food cake in mine. You can also mix up a box of Jello and pour it around the edges of the bowl and it makes it so pretty. Loved your bar cart and your little tables you made. What a great idea! Just love all your ideas, especially the crafts. 😊

Our generational homemade Angel Food Cake is our favorite way to have Strawberry Shortcake. We use Fresh Strawberries from our local Farm and homemade whipped cream from our local Dairy Farm which also has an Ice Cream Shop on site using their fresh cream. It’s like eating the most flavorful air, everything is so light and fluffy. 😋🤤

Hi Jenn! FYI on quick whipped cream - if you have heavy cream just put a little in a mug and use your same mini whip you use in your coffee and just whip the cream up. It works perfectly!

We live in So. Cal and it’s super humid! We also live in Arizona and it’s 113🥵 but we love the summer…definitely making some lemonade water! 🍋

Great video for summer! Love the lemon drink and strawberry trifle. I just put a bag of lemons and liquid stevia on my grocery list. Your backyard is definitely an oasis for your family. The bar cart is a beautiful addition to your backyard. My outdoor thermometer says 92! We're usually around 75 degrees. Happy summer!

My husband’s grandmother made strawberry shortcake using homage pie crust…she just broke it into pieces to put in everyone’s bowl!! It was good…but a lot of work!!🥰

Hey Jen, It is hot as Hades in AL!

I definitely like mixing a carton of fresh strawberries with a bag of frozen, as it gives off a juice that moistens the pound cake. I also mix a little sugar and a few teaspoons of Grand Marnier to marinate the berries before assembling it all. Also I sometimes mix vanilla pudding cups with my Cool Whip to make a thicker, richer filling between layers. The iced coffee looks perfect for the triple digit heat wave we are having here in California . And the bar cart is gorgeous. Did you mention where is was from? I didn't see a link

Love everything in this video and your enthusiasm. I’ve gotta get that strawberry chopper. Omg!!!! I have a suggestion for you, look into cutco knives. Your knife for cutting the lemons looked dull. LOL. It’s an investment, but worth every penny. But be careful you don’t chop off your finger while you get used to sharp they are.

We want to paint it white, but I’m so hesitant because I don’t want it to look stark, have, look beige/dingy, or have a blue undertone. Was your house white when you moved in? I’ve been thinking for awhile about painting the siding white as well but feel the same way that it might be too stark all white. The color of the brick is Sherwin Williams Alabaster.
