Simple Stories in Spanish: El viaje

This sixth season of Simple Stories in Spanish is inspired by requests from my listeners. I love to travel. I love to see new sights and experience new foods. I love meeting new people. There are a few things I don’t love about traveling, but they don’t seem to matter once I reach my destination.
This story is told in the past tense. Repeated words and phrases include “viajar” (to travel), “vuelo” (flight), “boleto” (ticket), “equipaje” (luggage), “maleta” (suitcase), “facturar” (check-in) “seguridad” (security), “aduana” (customs), and “tirolesa” (zipline - also called “tirolina”). No matter where you are in your language journey, stories will help you on your way. You can find a transcript of the story and read along at smalltownspanishteacher.com/2...
¡Muchas gracias por escuchar! Thank you for listening, and a HUGE thank you for your support. I really enjoy creating and sharing simple, comprehensible stories in Spanish. If you would like to help me in that endeavor, consider buying me a taco at www.buymeacoffee.com/SpanishT...

Awesome podcast Camilla. Hard to believe that today (6/29/2022) is officially six months since I first started listening to Simple Stories in Spanish Podcast on December 29, 2021. At the time I was looking for a podcast similar to Duolingo Spanish Podcast. I think it's a excellent idea to learn any language through storytelling. Thank you so much.

muchas gracias por este video! Tu historia y tu habla lenta realmente me ayudan a aprender. Me voy a Barcelona en octubre y a México en abril, así que necesito practicar español muchos. fui a Costa Rica hace dos años también. Gracias por los recuerdos.

Your videos are precisely what I need to progress in my Spanish conversation. Thanks for producing these and doing such a great job. Suggestion: It would help me if there was a transcript in Spanish, or even better Spanish subtitles I can turn on or off. I suspect this is a lot of work, but it would help if I can follow you once while reading Spanish subtitles and then several more times with no subtitles. It's not a big deal, but I think it would help. Please keep up the good work.
