Thank you for doing things together. Yes - it is a staged video, but showing that you work together means so much.
It’s also good to leave a plunger in the bathroom just in case and they don’t have to be embarrassed asking for one.

Yes! Great tip 👍
I tend to clean using a 15/45 minute rule. 15 mins cleaning, 45 mins resting. I have a number of health issues that mean I can easily push myself too far, physically. And this rule helps me get more done without killing myself. I also don’t have a regular cleaning routine, so a lot of my cleaning gets pushed off until I have guests coming, so there’s usually A TON for me to catch up on!

That's exactly what I do as well. Sometimes it is 5 min of work every hour type of schedule .
I open all the windows while I’m cleaning before I apply the scents. I also bathe the dog. I put out guest water bottles and snacks, toiletries a website we use for sleep sounds.
Loved the video! Super practical, esp the blind smells 😂 My cousin did the basket of toiletries idea along with a bottle of water. I thought that was real smart. She also left a charger plugged in next to the bed 👌 I thought those were real smart ideas!
That was great , thankyou. I often forget the front porch because we don’t use it daily.
Wow..thanks for the tips! Awesome video👍🏾You guys work great together❤💪🏾

Thanks Brandon, you always have the best tips and I never miss your videos, keep up the good work 🤩
I love creating little welcome baskets too☺️ whenever I’m at the dollar store I try to pick up mini shampoos, soaps, toothbrushes, etc.. My guests love this thoughtful touch
We recently had a bunch of people visit after Thanksgiving and the process for cleaning up the house was very, very long and hard. Dishes, laundry, floors, bathrooms, the front yard with its endless amount of leaves and we have a dog, too, so we had to clean up a couple dog messes so the kids had a yard that was ready for them to play in, too. And there was so much more that I didn't do. I didn't tackle the fridge front, nor did i empty the bad stuff from the fridge, though I did do the terrible kitchen floor and the mildly dirty lower cabinet doors and drawer faces. I did wipe down the dishwasher front - I think?; I did tackle the oven exterior of the door, and the microwave front, and the oven handle which was a pain in its own way. And I did the front stairs which are carpeted, which, with a dog who sheds a bunch is always a chore - and then after the guests left, the stairs were a nightmare in a different way from bits of leaves and tons of shoes and going up and down the stairs endlessly. It was really fun, but it was a ton of work before and after.

Sounds like a good reason to introduce a no shoes rule + machine washable house slippers basket for guests! 😁
Thank you ❤ Great tips! I agree, the most important thing is not to get overwhelmed cleaning .
This is an awesome video with great tips! I love the password and basket idea! You guys are such a great team!…you cleaned that right up! ✨✨
Hello! Thanks for sharing! Great 💡 ideas! I use the welcoming basket for toiletries, snacks, pen and paper. I like to use pen and paper to write things down. Merry Christmas!
Great tips and beautiful home. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏼
Less of a cleaning and more of a comfort but While It's rare for us to have guests over I always have snacks prepared for expected guests and take into consideration each person's diet needs like allergies and such! It adds a lil welcome "home" feel imo

Omg you two are so cute!!
Good stuff. Appreciate you guys.
What would you suggest as a substitute for fabreeze? I am allergic to it. Non stop sneezing

I am too! I get scent induced migraines too so vinegar and lots of plug-ins and candles wreck me. I use Hex Performance fabric deodorizer. The fresh and clean scent smells like green apples to me but it's never overwhelming and the scent fades quickly!

Thank you for the extra work for us allergy people 😊
You have a beautiful home!
great video
So cool
me too I'm cleaning my room by myself 😊❤
My problem is figuring out quickly where to stash all that clutter I just removed from sight. Bc I certainly don’t have time to sort through it in the 15 minutes I’m cleaning up! Any suggestions?
your house is so nice!
Sam I LOVE YOUR HAIR!!!
The timer takes off the stress. Staying focused on one room and not getting distracted with other tasks, which is what happens with me. Clearing counters, stove tops, dish drainer is my full time job it seems that they are drop zones. The one bad cleaning habit in this house is papers, Mail, etc will be moved from common area to office where door is shut, and office is near unusable because of this "cleaning" method....

Haha I totally get it. We all have that one room or space! That’s real life and realistic, right?😁have a great weekend!
We take our wifi/guest stuff one step further and include some local snacks and chocolate on their bed so they don't have to rummage through a strange kitchen for that midnight snack! I also take the stick vacuum and hit all the places where cobwebs and gnats like to accumulate, especially where I know the sun will shine through and highlight them. 😆 It takes so little time but makes me feel like our space is super clean even if it's not.

What brand was that trash can???
OshKosh B'gosh!
I love your rugs😍 where are they from?
Your next guests watching this video 👀
That always worries me. We do get so used to the smell of our own house we can’t smell what it’s really like. I have two toy poodles that like to lick their paws and to me, all I can smell is dirty dog feet. 😩
How may hours before guests show up?
Yahoooo
Great tips. Id like to suggest that people avoid artificial scents and try to use natural cleaners like isopropyl alcohol and vinegar, before having guests over Some people eg me react badly to artificial scents and cleaning materials. I use essential oils like peppermint to make the place smell nice. And wafting scents of coffee is always good.

Fresh coffee or tea > over perfumes for sure! My asthma reacts horribly to perfumed stuff. Having a small pot on the stove with water and a couple cinnamon sticks (provided there's no allergy to that 😜) or similar is also good!
Please may I come over?
Is that a brand new Hoover?
Open the windows
Do guests in america remove shoes outside ? I mean you have a rug.
I tend to do one big chore on a day of the week. Eg always vacuuming on Mondays and so on. Also as a German...Lüften every day xD
Your wife looks like flow from progressive she’s beautiful
Wow....that’s great that you both put in 15 minutes of cleaning which is really equivalent to 30 minutes of cleaning. 🤯😜👍. Now, how do I get my spouse to put in his share of 15 minutes? Lol
Find out about the vinegar. I keep hearing that it is dangerous to actual washer.

Thanks for cleaning up your dog hair!
