Thanks so much Liz…love the idea of using felt to back the ornament, rather than 2 boards to back the cross stitch piece…that makes finishing easier…thanks again🛷☃️🥁🎄

What a great tutorial. I can’t wait to try out a couple of your ideas this weekend. I have a stack of finished cross stitched pieces that desperately need to be fully finished before Christmas.
I have finished 4 ornaments following your videos. I can't thank you enough for explaining it and making it less daunting. I have 3 more to go any ideas on finishing a star shape??

I haven't ever done a star shape but I know Vonna has a video for finishing the Teresa Kogut Star partterns!
Great tutorial! I was even considering stitching a small on perforated paper to save the agony but you've changed my mind! Can you do a tutorial on doing a flat-fold/stand-up? Thanks!

I'm not sure if I have anything stitched ready to be finished that way, but when I do I will!
I am going to try this. First time what do you use between the board and stitching. I need to get some of that

I use cotton quilt batting! You can find the brand warm and natural at craft stores!
What a nice and easy tutorial. I have to try this. I'm from The Netherlands and want to look for the artboard. We can buy canson here, but I can't find anything that's called artboard, could you please tell me how thick this board is?

Thank you! www.jerrysartarama.com/canson-art-boards this is what I use! I like it because it’s slightly thicker than a normal picture frame mat board but I’m still able to cut it with scissors or my rotary cutter!
