PART 1: Getting setup on the machine. While these 3 things may seem trivial, they can sometimes make ALL the difference in your stroke!
1️⃣ - Adjust the damper to the middle. Trust me on this one, don’t get used to the heavier feeling of a 10, you’ll regret it later. Start at a 5 (or lower!). Keep it simple.*
2️⃣ - Move the foot stretchers so the strap is at the top of your shoelaces or the widest part of your foot. Take the time to move them, this gives you more room to row!
3️⃣ - Set your butt in a position that allows you to hinge forward, sit bones down into the seat, so you can get your body angle over!
Keep it simple. Start in a solid position and take good strokes! More parts coming soon!
*I could go on forever about the damper, and I have in previous posts. But in general, it’s not the resistance and you will row more efficiently at a lower setting than 10.
