Hello. I built this amplifier today. I can say that it is a pretty good amplifier, with a fairly high thermal efficiency considering the class B operation. I changed the resistance value from 120k to 270k to have half the supply voltage at the output. As final transistors we used TIP3055, as prefinals we used TIP41 and TIP42, and the transistor in the input stage BD139. The working voltage was 26 vdc and the maximum current absorbed was 0.9A. The calculated output power in the 4 ohm load was 15w. Good luck in the future.

I tried this and it was really good.i used this circuit for original 5198 04 transistors.working great.i used 40v power supply and my 1k 1w resistor is very heating.can i replace that with any other value?thank you..
