They may have more of a pop sound to them, but let's look at most of what's played on the radio today. Country is taken over by pop, even rappers now-a-days have to sound more "poppy" to stay relevant. You can't just bash on one band trying to get their songs out there remain popular. I just went to their show in St. Louis, Missouri and was taken right back to when they opened for Good Charlotte 9 or 10 years ago. Only this time I was able to enjoy them even more! And they played their whole set list from No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls. It was a fucking blast! Pardon my french. ;)

I just recently re-discovered Simple Plan. They were a big part of my early twenties and now I'm almost 40 😅 Also, how is it that Seb has not aged one bit in like 15 years???

I've been a cold-hard fan of Simple Plan for the last....yeah around the last 8-10 years. This is so different from what I grew up with! But.....The only thing that crosses my mind is simply positivity! I love their new sound! It's so "not Simple Plan"-like and it's awesome. I hope they keep up this newly found vibe, because I surely dig it! It's great to see this amazing and talented band are back :-) Oh, and by the way..Pierre looks fantastic. Damn, he still got it

Cause its Rubbish and Simple Plan are capable are soo much better. They set these high standards and their dropping with every new album they make

I think this is a really good song, SP has grown a lot since the beggining, the third album was very different too and yet we all accepted it, this song kinda reminds me of summer paradise, very catchy and cool. They have to change the sound and I think they're doing it great!

I like this track, contrary to all the people saying and who are gonna say it's commercial I don't think it is. For me it is really fresh and very different from what Simple Plan gave us before. And that's why I think the album is gonna be really good. It's gonna show another face of them, and I can't wait to hear the other tracks to be honest :)

I can't say this is my favorite one to be released so far, it's catchy, and it's good, it's just not exactly my style. I have faith that it will flow with the entire album though and I will always love Simple Plan! One song will not dismiss them as being one of my favorite bands! Love you guys!!

I was obsessed with Simple Plan in middle school and even though this is different then what they were. Its still catchy and is exactly the same type of music that is popular today.

Why does Simple Plan have to be pop-punk 24/7 for you guys to like them lol? I like bands who experiment with other genres. Just like in life, some variety is good. Anyways maybe you all will stop complaining after you hear their new single "Opinion Overload". It's probably my favorite song by them right now cause that one's a pop-punk banger! But, I'm really diggin' the beach pop vibe with this song haha.

Dont cry because the punk disappeared, they're 30+ now and they are not gonna sing about 'i'm just a kid' or 'Grow(ing) Up' anymore. Just enjoy the new sound, because it isn't that bad ! I really like it !

Wow so much hate from people who claimed that they were simple plan fans. Let me say that I'm not a normal simple plan fan and listen to all of thier music but this is a good song and something different for a different type of fan base to get into to expand their product and sound. Instead of sounding the same all the time they branched out to a different sound or genre and created new fans. Now if this was my favorite band and didn't like this song then I wouldn't waste my time commenting negative bullshit on this video and I would just comment on another song of theirs I liked instead of saying this isn't them. You're not a true fan if you say you grew up listening to them and liked them and now because they changed a genre for a song or a couple and then you publicly bash their new sound or song. I'm a true Bone Thugs n Harmony fan and yes their old songs might sound better then their new songs but I love how much they grown and don't sound the same on every freakin song. Now that's what you call musical talent.

+Ant Jonez MusiQ Do you understand what you're saying? With your logic it's like 2Pac started to do country music. A artist can grow but still be in the same genre. Pop music takes no fucking talent. Let's be honest here this isn't because they want to expand as a band... This is so they can sell albums because punk rock isn't in anymore. Pop sells. This is selling out to the highest degree. Even if they went pop I wouldn't mind if they had decent lyrics but the lyrics are generic as fuck.

A lot of people seem to forget Simple Plan changes their sound with every record. That's their thing. I'll always support them. I admit I'm not a huge fan of Saturday but I do enjoy the rest of the tracks including this one. Just enjoy it and if you hate it then don't listen to it. It's definitely far from their punk style music but it's interesting and I like it.

Just by watching the video I get the impression that they had a lot of fun doing it xD

Simple Plan is not gone and if we keep comparing them to when they first started, we'll never be happy. I think it's a fun song and I can't wait for the album :)

I love that Simple Plan is changing it up. They are adapting to our new culture, something I have always admired about them! Everything they have done in the past was perfect for those times as well. They are brilliant artists and I will always back them up, because they have always been there to back me up when I needed their music!

i have started listening sp when I was 14. now I am 25 and I love them in their evolution! I grew up with them and maybe some of their songs increased my happiness so.. I think I don't need punk rock sad songs anymore. :)

i've always been a simple plan fan and i loved their old music and i still love their new music too! Bands can't stay the same all the time it happens more and more regularly now and it's nothing to be ashamed about! Simple Plan are the best! Keeping the same music as they used to do would just put them out of fashion! they are trying to reach a wider fanbase and have more fun with their music! let them be!

What is wrong with pop music? I love that song, it's just so light and makes me wanna dance. There's nothing wrong with it. Sometimes it's actually better to have songs you can enjoy without having to think for a deeper meaning or something. I love this happy vibe and I wouldn't change a thing about it.

But its a very safe and samey genre and whether its pop or wtv genre I feel its important to reflect on the song we listen and their implications from time to time. srsly guys? why is there so much hate? i listen to them since '05 and yeah, this really isn't the same sound as "shut up" "i'd do anything" "perfect" etc.. but you know what, it's also fucking perfect and amazing on it's own way. It's still Simple Plan and their thing isn't just punk-rock.. their thing is to change but still keep a bit of that Simple Plan vibe in it, srsly guys, every new album by this amazing band has a something new and different(not just this one), but we can all tell it's still Simple Plan and i find that fucking amazing and they have so much support and respect from me.. in this 11 years they never failed to amaze me with new stuff, fresh sound and still a bit of punk rock every now and then.. GOOD JOB GUYS.. KEEP ON ROCKING ON YOUR OWN "SIMPLE PLAN" WAY!

Do half of you guys come here to complain about the song? or about how they've changed? or just to talk shit on them. They are doing what they love, this band isn't here to please everyone because you can't. They are selling out concerts on a world tour, can you say the same? I have been to metal festivals and those fans aren't comparable to the ones I encountered at a simple plan concert the other day. Some of you may think their music sucks but it can mean everything to someone else...
