In this video, I will show you how to make a Simple LED Chaser Circuit with BC549 Transistor. This circuit works in a strange principle of an NPN Transistor. All NPN Transistors will not work with this circuit. This only works with some specific transistors like BD139, D882, BC547, BC549. Hope you will enjoy this video.
You can run the circuit with 12V. This will work just fine.

Bro connect capacitor between transistors emitter to base of next transistor and last one to ground it will slow the flashing down
Sir, how does the npn transistor conduct with the base open & how can it operate with the emitter being connected to the +ve terminal? Also a request to please provide the circuit diagram on the screen for a longer time or give a pdf link for the circuit in the description. The led flasher works nicely.

Initially the capacitor charges up and the voltage in the circuit rises slowly. When the voltage reaches a specific value the emitter to collector junction breaks down and conducts. This lights up the LED and discharges the capacitor & This cycle repeats. Here the polarity of the transistor is reversed and base is untouched.

@@legendelectrics4668 thanks a lot for your kind gesture of explaining the working of the circuit. One doubt over here. The datasheet mentions Vceo of 30 volts & the supply is 12 volts. Please correct me if I am wrong. Anyway, still appreciate your kind help.

@@chetananam475 VCEO is the forward breakdown voltage. In this circuit reverse breakdown voltage is utilized and is less than supply voltage.
