@@tinmantinner1523 half right and half wrong! There are 2 mushrooms of this caliber. One of which is the "fly agaric" and is very deadly and poisonous. The other is an " Amanita Muscaria" which is in fact the very same mushroom that the Netherlands people ate which is what ga e us the idea of Santa clause/ what the original creator of Alice in wonderland ate to well give us the cartoon movie we all know and love.

Khaios, on the top is a stalactite, and on the ground is a stalagmite. this is how i can always remember the difference: stala *C* tite - *C* eling stala *G* mite - *G* round

Fun fact for those watching after this video was made, the rubblemaker has since been added, which allows you to place background decor manually!
I needed this so badly, thank you 🙂
I never understood landscaping this will help a lot. Thank you Khaios :-D
Love it! Looking forward to landscaping for other biomes! Brown painted strange plant for the desert; white painted strange plants for the snow; pink and sky blue “cotton candy” mushrooms in the hallow; etc.!
A Stalag-*tite* holds *tight* to the ceiling. A Stalag-*mite* *might* reach the ceiling. That's how I remember it, anyway. I don't always like using paint for environmental builds is because it no longer looks like Terraria. While grey-painted Sandstone does indeed look like a great rock of sorts, but it's also something you'd never see in a naturally-generated Terraria world, make it feel unnatural - which, well, a forest should look natural! Oh, and also, Vine Rope looks phenomenally like vines, except it doesn't break when you swing a weapon at it. Paint it Lime and it looks absolutely like Jungle Vines! Love your building vids though, they're always super cool to see what I've learnt thus far and what you do that I don't :D

1:00 So damn glad they add the shovel tool.
1:02 Rubblemaker: I’m about to end thos man’s entire career.
Could you do a ice biome landscape, i am having trouble with making one for my own base
I'm sorry to hear about the corrupt footage, no hurry though and a huge congrats on 200k!
You're so talented! I utilize your build tips quite a lot, but since I'm not in Journey I have to work with the materials I have. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience! You're improving Terraria builds everywhere!
I've been here for a while now, I'm so happy to see people are starting to watch and subscribe, I just finished watching all of the play through videos, and I love it, I can't wait until the next episode comes out. Love your videos man, keep up the good work!
I loved all the techniques you showed! I learned many new ones, my favorite being the thorny bushes at the end. So good!
I just started playing Terraria for the first time and I’ve been so intimidated by the whole building aspect but your videos are sooo inspiring and you’re amazing at explaining every step of your process. I can’t wait to build now :) TY!!!!
One thing i think to consider is do you want your house to have a 1 or 2 block wide center this impacts how you can center items in a build like a fireplace or a pylon is 3 blocks wide and a door one but a crafting table or a cooking pot are two wide i usually split go for the odd number choice because you can place doors offset and the two block items as accents but the 3 block item can be more difficult to place in a room without preplanning if you want to squeeze as much in
This sparks joy
oh wow, this turned out incredible!! the way i mentally gasped when you used the living leaf wall for background bushes as well!!
I love these tip videos of yours. Its impressive watching you build something huge and beautiful, but these have helped me so much.
Patterns are in a lot of flowers actually.

How I remember stalactites and stalagmites: It's weird and kinda funny so it'll probably stick. Stalagmites-think mites like dust mites on the ground Stalactites-(this is the funny one) the word has "tits" in it which hang down

Watching your videos inspired me to maybe try recording some builds myself! This was an excellent and helpful video. I particularly liked the bramble pit. It's something I had never thought of. If you want to do more of these, I would love to see some detailed geode cave or desert tips!

A landscaping tutorial series? Yes please.
I love this tips videos they help so much with building
Hey Khaios, thanks as always for the awesome vids, if you do happen to see this I am wondering about building bridges, not just large ones but say small ones over like a small pond or gaps in the world (or man made ones) that are maybe 8-10 tiles wide, most of the time I just use a flat wooden platform but i've seen people with some awesome stuff, however they are usually much larger.
Tank god for the rubblemaker! RIP Leinfors, thanks for being an absolute legend.
Good job 200k keep up the good work
I'm really sorry that all your footage got corrupted. That really sucks, but its awesome how you're able to persevere and redo the recording! I wish I had that much motivation. Anyways, lovely video!! This helped a whole lot ^-^
I needed this
Sandstone is good for _so_ much. When I built the Moon, it was the primary material for the surface and looked great with the grey paints
I am so sorry , and happy and the same time. I am happy for 200k terrarians, and sad cuz you deserve a LOT more. Love your vids
This is actually the only K's build tutorial I liked. He explains things, actually shows HOW they work, instead of just saying "That looks good" or "natural", and said things can be replicated in any conditions, not just the outlined ones.
I think the different color of the painted clay from the dirt kinda makes a nice gradient, so might not even be an issue, i love it
How come you don't have like 2 million subs already? Your videos and music and building skills are godly!
when I need entertainment or ideas for what to build, I watch your videos, Khaios

can't wait for your snow biome landscaping. currently I'm working on making HUUUUUUUUUUUGE snow mountain just like himayalas just spammed snow block & ice blocks everywhere, I know something just a bit off, but I haven't realized it yet
You deserve more subscribers
One thing i do for the living leaf wall bushes is to add in flower walls sparingly to add a bit more texture, they usually dont add too many flowers just a more leafy lighter green color to the bushes that gives them more depth!
If you want a dirtier brown stone, you can use Crisp Honey painted brown. I used that for my Zoologist's den.
THAT'S IT! I'm subscribing..
I'm very new to Terraria and I like building stuff and making landscapes and this really helped me alot! Im still searching what blocks are good to use so can you make a video about blocks that are really good for simple forest like designs? Also, your channel made me subscribe you. I like your videos on how to build and create stuff. Thank you so much again!
This just gave me an idea to make a stalactite (the ceiling one) and make it look like a hollow part in it has been turned into the NPC house.
