A Stalag-*tite* holds *tight* to the ceiling. A Stalag-*mite* *might* reach the ceiling. That's how I remember it, anyway. I don't always like using paint for environmental builds is because it no longer looks like Terraria. While grey-painted Sandstone does indeed look like a great rock of sorts, but it's also something you'd never see in a naturally-generated Terraria world, make it feel unnatural - which, well, a forest should look natural! Oh, and also, Vine Rope looks phenomenally like vines, except it doesn't break when you swing a weapon at it. Paint it Lime and it looks absolutely like Jungle Vines! Love your building vids though, they're always super cool to see what I've learnt thus far and what you do that I don't :D

One thing i think to consider is do you want your house to have a 1 or 2 block wide center this impacts how you can center items in a build like a fireplace or a pylon is 3 blocks wide and a door one but a crafting table or a cooking pot are two wide i usually split go for the odd number choice because you can place doors offset and the two block items as accents but the 3 block item can be more difficult to place in a room without preplanning if you want to squeeze as much in

One thing i do for the living leaf wall bushes is to add in flower walls sparingly to add a bit more texture, they usually dont add too many flowers just a more leafy lighter green color to the bushes that gives them more depth!

If you want a dirtier brown stone, you can use Crisp Honey painted brown. I used that for my Zoologist's den.

I'm very new to Terraria and I like building stuff and making landscapes and this really helped me alot! Im still searching what blocks are good to use so can you make a video about blocks that are really good for simple forest like designs? Also, your channel made me subscribe you. I like your videos on how to build and create stuff. Thank you so much again!

This just gave me an idea to make a stalactite (the ceiling one) and make it look like a hollow part in it has been turned into the NPC house.
