I just started junk journaling, discovering it after trying to clean up and struggling to throw away old memorable stuff I have kept in boxes for years . What I love about this concept is using the ugly things and turning it into something beautiful and useful. Before I started junk journaling my kids tell me I’m a horder and now I’ve brought out all my scraps even from 30 yrs ago and brought me so much joy using them again . I love that you actually use lots of recyclables and scraps in your journals catching the true essence of “Junk” journaling. Love your channel . Thanks for the inspiration.

I have a huge collection of buttons, had a dear neighbor pass away years ago and she had a sewing shop and I inherited them. One day I will share them but I would like to pick some out to sew on my jean journal cover for my junk mail journal. I think that would be a great way to display them.
