I feel that goats should be in the lower portion to avoid destruction of the floor and also give a cleaner atmosphere to the hens.good effort, God bless u all.thnx

Goats need to be avoided laying on the ground in order to keep themselves away from diarieah/indigestion ...and they love it when they can find place above ground (soil) to lay on. Chicken on the other hand suits best on the ground .

How can we control heat in Summer?

I'm confused as a newbie from a Nagercoil poultry vetinary. I started with minimum with 4 breeds for me to learn. I took BV380, Siruvadai, Kairali, Kadaknath. Each breed was in different age as requested. BV380 started giving big brown eggs. It should be around 6-7 months. Localites called it as giriraja. The other was siruvadai and mnay didn't have tails and the vetinary said it's molting time and will grow back. After a month it started laying eggs and it was like country eggs. Localites and also local vetinary called it bonda khozli, which I think it's gramapriya. Kairali is now 4 months and many fell sick and died. Kadaknath is still growing and I saw couple of death. I want to know the list of hens and it's photo and description. Can anyone help.

Chickens eat the substances in the droppings of of goat but goats won't eat the chickens dropping so this Idea is perfect.
