Simple Homemade Peanut Butter Dog Treats With Dog Icing

Homemade dog treats can be super simple and easy and still look fancy. Best of all you know exactly what you are feeding your puppy. That's why I like making these simple homemade peanut butter sandwich dog treats for my American Bully puppy and Staffy dog.
In this homemade peanut butter dog treat recipe I also have a dog friendly icing that hardens recipe. These DIY dog treats are a big hit with my pitbull pups and super simple to make.

Homemade Peanut Butter Sandwich Dog Treats Recipe:
✔ 1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour (gluten free options work as well)
✔ 1/2 tsp baking powder
✔ 1/2 cup of natural peanut butter (xylitol free)
✔ 1 large egg
✔ 2 tbsp honey
✔ 1/2 cup of milk
Dog Friendly Icing that hardens:
✔ 1/2 cup of plain greek yogurt
✔ 1/2 cup of tapioca flour
✔ 2-3 tbsp of milk

I had a Staffy. She was so kind and gentle, especially with children. I miss her so much. She died of liver cancer on Valentine's Day 2021. I was able to lay beside her, hold her and look into her eyes as she took her last breath. She was so scared. Then I cried like a baby.

I am so sorry for your loss! But at least you could be with her and comfort her when she passed. My Fiona also died of liver cancer in 2009.She wasn't even 9 years old. She died at the vet where we had taken her for another infusion. They called us too late or she went too fast.. when we got there 20 minutes later she had already gone. I am sure she is happy now across the rainbow bridge and you will meet again some day.🌈💕🐕💕🌈🙋♀️🙏🙏🙏

@@annetteenzoulis4870 so sorry to hear you were not able to be there to hold your young puppy dog. I know your pain. Did you adopt another puppy dog? I have decided NOT to get another dog. I can't go through losing another puppy dog, even a 12 year old. Does the pain get easier?

@@usmc-veteran7316 I got my dear Enzo from the shelter relatively soon after Fiona passed. I thought another poor dog shouldn't have to be in the shelter. And it helped to get another dog. That was the dog in my pic. He stayed with us for about 12 years. Due to lockdowns I had to wait for about half a year to adopt Robin. I chose him because he looks like Fiona. Maybe you will feel better some day to be able to adopt again. It definitely helps. There are so many dogs who would love to have a furever home. Good luck! 🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗🤗🙋♀️💕🐕💕👍👍👍🍀🍀🍀
