SIMPLE, Easy way for FINICKY FALL CRAPPIE

Спорт

Fall crappie fishing can be tough at times. Having an open mind and trying different techniques can help with figuring out what the crappie want on any particular day. Join me as I search for SLAB crappie on Normandy Lake in Tennessee.
I usually don't use minnows for crappie, but after a few trips of very finicky crappie, I decide to put minnows in the boat just in case. On this particular day the minnows may have saved the day. Watch as I catch several SLAB crappie and catch a true STUD on the split shot and minnow rig.
Equipment used in this video.
ACC Crappie STIX GS66M 6'6" 2 piece ROD
DAIWA Revros LT 1000 spooled with 4 lb mono
Split Shot and minnow rig / Size 4 hook

Yep. 😁 What I don't show are the 25 or 30 drops in between catches. Those big uns definitely made up for it. Thanks for watching. 🎣

That is a very good area for crappie. I think it gets better the colder it gets and when the water drops more. 👍

Nice video. Are you running an Echomap Ultra 106sv or a 126sv at the bow for your LIVESCOPE graph? Please advise.

Thank you. I have the 102 Ultra. It's the same unit as the 106, but the 106 has better built-in in mapping options. I only use mine for Livescope. 🎣

@@GordonPettieFishing I am hoping to pull the trigger on Bass Pro Shops Black Friday Sale and get 2 Garmin Echomap Ultras 126sv. One for the console for sonar and mapping and the other one with Livescope use at the bow. At least that is the plan. Thank you for your reply.
