When you go up and create a new guideline , do you have to close and cut under the new guide line?

I wish my barber who's from Jamaica cut hair and looked as hot as Chuka. This is more of a stylish hair salon oppose to a barbershop. Barbers should be able to cut and style any texture of hair but many cannot. When I had hair back in the 80's, as an Afro Latino (Puerto Rican), I went into a Dominican barbershop and a light skin Hispanic with straight curly hair cut my hair and he messed my haircut up. I looked like the son of Don King when I left out.😁 I guess he was only use to cutting the Hispanics with good hair, and not blacks and Afro Latinos with nappy hair. You did a great job on cutting the young man's hair in the chair. I just wish I still had hair. 😀 😃 😄 😁 😆 😅 😂 🤣 God or Mother Nature came and took my hair years ago. I am bald like many black, Puerto Rican, and Dominican men. I am located in New York City.

Yo chuke, I'm frm guyana bro the dust and grease in clients hair does gets to me bro bt the most I knw a regular cut cost is $1500 about $8US which some people grumble to pay, so eventhough I get the washing of every hair b4 cutting it's not profitable, eventhough it will protect other clients too.. I sold my Cordless Andis masters early this year , I love those but they have WAY to many issues.

Can you say how far you going up on the shape. Is that a inch? Is this your normal process I only ask cause when I’m watching other barbers they tend to have a system. Cut is fire don’t get me wrong but you all over the place but I do remeber barbers saying as long as you know where you are in the blend it doesn’t matter

Are you teaching or just cutting? If you teaching can you break your guard system down for dummies. What’s a 1/4 guard and things like that. What was the first guard you used to shape and why not shape with no guard?
