Simple but Extremely Beautiful | Textured Wooden Box Project
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This Jewelry box is made from scrap walnut and oak. It's a beautiful, hand-carved piece that looks expensive but is super simple to make.
It doesn't require fancy joinery or any special tools. The only thing that needed to be invested in this box was time. Hand carving takes a while!
This whole project was super fun to make, and it was a nice practice for me as well to remember the basics. I think it is a good habit to knock off a small project now and then to go through the fundamentals. Most of the time I find another method that I can do the same thing more efficiently.
This Box can be the perfect woodworking gift. This Wooden Box takes very little material but makes the most of it with a splendid texture that will impress anyone lucky enough to receive it. It's perfect for storing a loved one's memories or even your own artworks, jewelry and other treasures!
Overall, it was a great project, and I hope you will enjoy the video and learn a few tips and tricks.

Nicely done!
Awesome job! Simple yet stunning design. It's refreshing to watch a video about actually build something instead of these KZread woodworkers trying to sell you tools. Never once did you have to mention what kind of tools you used to create this beautiful box. In my opinion, it doesn't matter what you use to create your project, what matters is what your project looks like when you're finished. Great video

This Box Looks very beautiful!! I wonder, if it got cracks because you added the inner parts to keep the top in a perfect position. Actually theese parts would prevent the outer parts from shrinking if they should because of a change of the humidity of the surrounding Air.🤷

I love walnut. You put together a lot of off-cuts (not scrap) to make a very nice box. Nice job of texturing. Nice finish. Good use of the oak for a liner. Overall an excellent project.👍👍 That was the good. Now for the bad. I hated the music. It's boring and annoying. If you must have music pick something soothing and that doesn't repeat over and over.😥😥 Still, thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.🙂🙂

What is the liquid u put on the wood in the end to make the wood appear darker?
@KardamovMakes

It is a normal wood oil ( Brand - Bondex Hardwood Oil) . Most oils would make the wood look darker.

It was a one-off project. If I recall correctly, The walnut was approximately 10 mm thick after being cut to the final dimensions.
how much would you sell something like this - asking cus im a new woodworker and im not sure how to price time consuming projects. thanks. its awesome btw.

Advice I got was the price of materials should be the lostest "labour" cost. As time go on and you have experience, pricing won't be such a problem. Good luck 👍
