Tip: always practice on paper. Then you can cut the handprint part out and glue to card. I’m having to come back and add this cause I forgot to tell you what worked best for me. I took one of those little foam brushes and that’s how I applied the paint to their hands. And I didn’t use a whole lot. Always start with their wrist, then roll the rest of the hand and fingers down. ❤Bless your heart. I remember doing the same thing with my kids thinking I had defective paint or something. Then someone told me to get an ink pad and I couldn’t find one big enough. Then they laughed at me when I said that. FYI. I am a natural blonde. And we just don’t think like others. 😂

Doing hand prints with little kids is very hard. They wiggle their hands too much lol but I learned with my first daughter to buy multiple cards and do it on each card and pick the best one. I love watching how you decorate your home. Very pretty❤😊

Lol, I just knew that wasn't the last time that island would see paint. I was waiting for you to paint the flat parts blue. The new rug is perfect ❤. It doesn't matter that the card didn't turn out the way you wanted it to, he's gonna love it anyway ❤. I thought you might put the cow rug in front of the fireplace, but then I thought, no, maybe the babies could slip on it there. Be careful with the new candle lamp, that's a halogen bulb, and they get very hot, even the hood of the lamp will be very hot to the touch. I had a lamp just like that from At Home, except the bulb wasn't halogen, I know why now, the halogen will be hot enough to melt the candle and give off the aroma. My lamp was useless, it never melted the candle, therefore, no aroma ☹️, I really liked the look of the lamp too, but it ended up in the trash ☹️. I Was wondering what happened to your stove top cover? From our family to yours, we wish Kyle a wonderful, happy Fathers Day🎉❤.

She would use a little ramekin bowl, and it was always perfect. Lol I finally figured it out and have now raised my own kids on it that are 26 and 21. I can’t believe I’m old enough to have kids this age. Enjoy every minute because it happens so fast. 🫶🏻

39:44 did you know you can add your noodles to the crockpot and they don’t overcook. It’s so easy. I’m going to have to make your version. I never thought to add parsley flakes and some other stuff you add. I normally use the colored rotini because it makes me feel like I’ve got a veggie portion in it. My son said it doesn’t count though. I said sure it does! 😉

Hi Courtney, I love your new rug in the living room & the candle warmer. How long does it take for the candle to start smelling in the room? Happy Father's Day to Kyle. He will enjoy the Father's Day card with the girls' hand prints. My husband loves all of our daughter's handmade cards. A good friend of mine used to do crafts with her kids' hands and feet on cards, paper and shirts. She came up with the idea to get a foam craft brush and paint just enough paint on her kids' hands and feet before pressing down. She was able to control the amount of paint and the prints turned out great. I wish I would had thought about that years ago when my daughter was younger, lol. We made a mess, but had a blast at the same time. And that is all that matters 😊 I hope y'all have a wonderful weekend! ❤

I laughed so hard when you were doing the girls handprints. It reminded me of myself trying to do art projects with my twin girls when they were toddlers. Nothing ever turned out like I had envisioned and it was always a huge mess. But now that they are 23 we cherish all those imperfect works of art.

Thank you girl! 😊 the cleaner is called Rise from Walmart I think I only paid a few dollars for that big bottle and it smells sooooo good and I just used a damp microfiber rag to clean the tv. @@vickieharris-yn5nd yay your going to love it!! 😍 and I would say you can definitely smell it in the whole main living area so it’s strong but not overpowering usually if they are overpowering I get headaches and nauseous from it but it’s just the right scent for me some candles are just wayyyy too strong lol I think you would really like it though 😊

I bought the pot set from thyme and table from Walmart last Black Friday and it came with the set it’s so you can sit hot stuff on the countertop without the heat messing up your countertops I THINK they are called trivets 😊
