I think this housing plan is for tropical weather countries thus not suitable for countries with winter :)

This is a house design meant for the tropics, not for countries with a temperate climate. The designer is likely from Southeast Asia, probably Filipino, as implied by the name of the channel. “Balai” is derived from “balay” the Malay word for “house.” In many Asian countries, it’s customary to leave shoes outside or right at the entrance of the residence such as on the porch or in the foyer, and walk inside in slippers or even barefoot.
