I wish they could have just let him paint. Questions are good, but most of them felt like they were trying to reach too deep instead of asking about his process or how he thinks when he approaches a photo plate. I feel like could hear some constrained frustration from Simon during that 2nd or 3rd one, where he was just like "well, ofc."

they are all the same irrelevant childhood questions from basic adults. i dont think simon finds it that deep to be honest

@@elirollins1547There's that but there definitely is a deeper aspect to his works. In an interview with him by Pop Culture Detective he goes into more depth about the political and cultural stuff in his art.
