The music just makes everything so much more intense I love it

Wow! I feel like I need to read the books now. I really enjoyed the romance and the ruse as they called it of Daphne and Simon. I love the banter between the two of them. Phoebe's portrayal of Daphne is awesome as this quiet but very strong, compassionate, witty, and beautiful young woman. I enjoyed seeing the epic costumes, to the wonderful dance routines, va rious characters, and love of family. Shonda has a winner here in this show. I only wish that the scene of Daphne realizing that Simon lied to her then tries to get pregnant could have been done very differently or not at all. The casting of Rege-Jean as the Duke is extraordinary. I know he played in a legal drama on ABC which I didn't get to see but he is remarkable as the Duke of Hastings. He surely has a regal way about him and in his stature. He is obviously gorgeous but also captivating when he enters a room. I believe 2021 will be his year.

This is by far the best fan vid made. I marathoned through the episodes and now cannot get enough of it. I will be rewatching it most definitely.

Ok, so given this interaction, *why the HELL* DOES SIMON assume that Daphne does not like him???? She even *kissed* him in the garden, and she’s never kissed anyone before. Include the whole holding hands in the gallery thing as well.. & her feeling hurt and rejected when he told her they were “never friends”. Hello Nirmenia Im Latipah....enjoyed watching yr lovely music video clips of the Bridgerton series esp.on Simon &Daphne. Thank you for your effort. Didnt know about the author of the book, Julia Quinn. Are all her books abt the Regency era or is Bridgerton one off from her collection of books? I've always like to read stories abt British families.. like Jane Eyre...Little Women and such...Somehow I didnt come across books by Julia Quinn.Im quite elderly so maybe I've not been keeping up with latest famous authors except of course that of Harry Potter and Lord of The Ring to mention a few. Guess I've to browse at the book store in my hometown and look for Julia Quinn's books.Is the Bridgerton series in Netflix somewhat different from the actual book? They usually do this to make the drama series more dramatic. The casting was simply apt. How did Shonda Rhimes manage to catch hold of Regé-Jean Page ? He could be the new James Bond. Julia Quinn's Bridgerton books are historical romances available at your local bookstore or library. I think there are 8 in all. There is a reissue of the first, THE DUKE AND I, with these two actors on the cover. Shondaland added color-conscious casting to the series, turning it into a fantasy or alternate history tale. But I think most posters agree that it worked perfectly. I envy you for never having read Quinn's books. You'll enjoy them. In the meantime, here's a link to her website juliaquinn.com/

That wedding ring was not like the one in the book ‘The Duke and I’. It was an emerald flanked by 2 diamonds. This ring is wack. Why did they do that? Very disappointed in this choice.
