Well, if they wrote her off she wouldn't have gotten the 2 yes.. With the first song she did she played safe, especially for a competition... the second was better. I mean she was 15 years old then... Thank God she is ready now... Cos Sunmisola don blow now ooo

They didn't write her off 🤔 it is growth, process. Her voice wasn't sitting well on the first song and when she was given a chance to redo, she did it. She's better now

This shows that consistency is key. She wasn't ready then but her consistency has paid off. The judges werent bad in their judgement. Like one of them said she wasnt ready then but in a few years she will be and truly it has happened. They saw potential in her and encouraged her to ride on it. This is to tell anyone out there dont give up, if you are told no now. it means improve yourself. Refine yourself, get better and in few years, they will come looking for you. No shouldn't make you give up.

Watching in 2024 after seeing a comment that she was written off by one Godfrey Her Yeshua cover gives goosebumps

The judges did what judges should do. The good thing is Sunmisola took everything they said that day and ran with it. She came back big and better with the grace of God. The judges never condemned her. The key word here is they said it shows at that age, she has been listening to the right song. She never prepared for the second song and yet, she sang it. Let's endeavor to feed our heart, eyes and soul with the things of the Lord. Love u Sunmisola, you are indeed a child of grace.

Sincerely, the judge were right. We are not judging based on what she sang there but what we know of her now. She’s good but she has continued to work on herself and we should applaud her for it. And the judges aren’t wicked because they did their jobs.

God bless you. How could her uniqueness and professionalism be shining all over that place and they still couldn't afford to see it? Rather they where finding faults that wasn't there. Shy.. In this aspect,Tim Godfrey and the rest had a poor musical sight and i don't believe they have grown beyond that.

The judges are now the ones watching out for Sunmisola's new songs and contents on all platforms. They are the ones praying for her songs to bless them. Surely her songs now have far more reaching audience. When God elevates you nothing can bring you down.

Wow, I never believed this is how she started, God is faithful. That beginning of every journey in life is very important

Before anyone starts bashing anyone here The truth of the matter is this: She needed to work on herself. If they had given a go ahead then, only God knows she would have been by now. There was a needed Spiritual and Physical working. She yielded to God, the secret place and to work on herself and her instrument- her voice vehemently. It is evident. She put in the hard work to sound the way she does now. This just goes to say whatever is a bright potential, no matter how bright needs a time of working to SHINE maximally. Time to grow. Time to GROW. Time to Build. She was in her own cave of Adullam until the time of her appearing. So it was/is not a narrative of the judges talking down on her🤦🏾‍♀️ Yes, the potential was/is great but she had to work on it. Your instrument is the vehicle through which God reveals Himself. If you don't take care and hone it to the best it can get, there may be some people you can't reach.

Please tell your friend to go back to God, that’s where he won’t get a no. If he’s actually ready for ministry, there are soooo many no’s that will come his way especially in the beginning. He should look to his Maker and the one who called him, instead of what people have to say. Otherwise every no he receives will lead to ‘damage’

The truth is not everyone would receive a YES, that's the point of SOUND CHECK. It is just what it is. He should pick himself up, when he gets to Heaven and God asks him for his report, He wouldn't be able to tell God that Tim Godfrey gave him no o. I wish him the best.

I think one of those panelist is MASTER-CRAFT. He rightly saw the best in her even in her unrefined state. Currently she is a voice to reckon with.....................

What are you even talking.. Plz i hate it when people talk out of sentiments. If you are musically inclined and you don't want to support Tim godfrey for no reason you would know that her voice texture was perfect and her voice maturity is even a gift. Do you even know what voice texture is? This is even her real texture not the one that your have been hearing from her mixed and mastered songs. Haba.. No wonder the westerners are always better in everything. They misjudged her in every way just accept the truth,you won't die if you do.

This is how many persons misjudge and ruin their future Blessings.

I understand various persons' viewpoint about the judges telling her to sing a secular song, and I agree with what she did (insisting on only songs that will give God glory). But I honestly see nothing wrong with how the judges rated her. She was a participant like all others, and they didn't outrightly say anything bad to her. Even we all now can agree that there is quite a difference between that audition and her now. It is evident that her time has come and God has decided to announce her.

Time speaks, in doing the right principles a difference is birthed You inspire me ma I trust God is happy to hear you sing I love the way you didn't give up, you express yourself with all innocence and genuinity
