I might do Spa, but really the other tracks this season don't have enough interesting history to talk about, even in places like Suzuka the corners just have names like "the hairpin" 😂

We need corner names for other tracks, like CoTA or Spain.

AGREED! Every corner needs to be named after some weird event or a person or a nearby patch of trees in my opnion, much better than numbers

You don’t want that. Half of Spain’s corners are lifelessly named after sponsors, pretty sure the last turn is just called coca-cola…

@@THEUNDEADMIDGET Yey, but imagine the esses at CoTA being named after the Andrettis. Mario, Michael, Jeff, John, Marco...
Looking at the Wikipedia article for Silverstone, I think I've found the reason why Becketts and Chapel have separate names. It seems to be a hangover from the 1948 iteration of the circuit when they were indeed very separate corners with a small straight in between. Becketts has been moved pretty substantially to the west in the intervening years.
Great video mate ! Keep the good vids coming ! If you want to find other connection, the employee Christmas dinner at McLaren is always at Brooklands #itsallconnected
Great video and all, BUT THOSE NAILS ARE GORGEOUS!
Mr V; funny and informative! Thanks, man! I won't be lost this week-end!
Great video!
Thank you, I am now ready to watch the race on Sunday and finally understand what the commentators are saying
Worth noting that Farm was originally the Farm Straight prior to 2010 when the arena section was paved. The Farm Straight was preceded by Abbey, so they just moved the name to the corner that now followed Abbey.

Its because there's a farm there. It was there before it was an airfield and is still there now.
I love old version Silverstone 50-90
I can't believe how many less views and subscribers you have. Your content is amazing.
Oh yesssss another video😀🏎
Like this video for finally finding a video that lists everything at normal speed and not formula one car speed, good presentation, decent humour.

And also keep making good videos u will grow up to a big youtuber one time
let's go, another vid
I left a like just for the commitment to the maggot moor research. like, how do you even get into the national archive?!? I've now got a wonderful image in my head of you sitting in some massive, old, dusty library in a waistcoat with a smoking pipe, contemplating old english manuscripts. that's totally how it works right? Still, yet another great vid. all the best

they don't let you in if you're not wearing the waistcoat. I found out the hard way... also it's all online 😂
I thought meggets and bekkets where like mekkets like a Milk bucket ( i dont know whyl and beggets after like maybe a cookie or biscuit in england that very popular but i was wrong :( i loved calling it the cookies corner
"Why is it called Chapel?" Because of the pre-1991 layout that had three separate corners there.
What about priory? Where did that one come from?
u look like checo and nico rosberg at the same time...
Nice black nails, very metal!
Do a video like this about le mans
People not from the UK do not even understand why it is pronounced "silverston" when it is written as "silverstone"...

Actually, nothing "weird "about any of these. More like self-explanatory with a little digging. "Copse" for a grove of nearby trees; "International Straight" for the longest straight on the long circuit used for the GP': "national straight" for the shorter circuit used for non-international events; "Village" is a no-brainer, given that the town the track is named for is a stone's throw distant; "Wellington Straight" for not "a" British bomber, but for THE bomber that was the backbone of RAF Bomber Command when the modern Silverstone was an RAF aerodrome, and so on.
Great content, a shame I can’t keep my eyes away from the nails, my gosh 🤢
