Another day with no light
Feeling alone in a double life
So far away
I levitate
Somewhere between the shadow
And the darkest place
And I start to slip away
Don’t wait up now
Heavy heart my heads like ten feet up now
So high above the ground
Don’t wait up now
‘Cause I’m halfway to the clouds
While everything inside of me is crashing down
I covered up my tracks so long ago
Like cracking ice hidden under snow
If I lie to you
Could I believe it too?
I need something to fuck me up
‘Cause I can’t take the truth
So I run and split in two
Thin air in a crowded room
I can’t hold myself together if I can’t feel my hands
I can’t make myself get better if I can’t understand
I can’t tell you where I’m going
I can’t tell you when this ends
I need something to hold on to until I leave again
Don’t tell me it’s my fault
Just catch me when I fall back to earth
‘Cause my world gets so blurry
And it’s too hard to stay here
Fracture and disappear

The voice inflection on the second half of the chorus with the "Don't wait up nowwwOWWW" gives me This Is How The Wind Shifts vibes. Love it
This song is dope AF
one of my favourites from the album - catchy chorus, great guitars, and you can feel the sense of desperation the lyrics are trying to convey
Every time I hear people defend bands for falling off the wagon or selling out after 2 - 3 albums, I just point to Silverstein still putting out great music, album after album, for all these years. I hope I continue to grow older with new music from these guys.

the band didn't fall of a wagon the fans did. those fans just listen to one genre and the band doesn't and honestly that is more telling of who loves music for music and not selfishly.

@@Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa669 I’ve been a Silverstein fan longer than I’ve been anything other than alive and I feel you’re wrong on this, but it’s okay. Fans didn’t “fall off”. I’m all for bands evolving and adapting their sound with their growth as a band. The issue here is I listen to Silverstein for a very specific set of reasons, and when I can play a song from a newer album and would hardly know it’s Silverstein if I didn’t know Shane’s voice, it’s a tough sell to me. If I wanted to listen to another genre or “sound”, I’d listen to another band. If I wanted to hear anything other than Silverstein, I would. It’s not a matter of not appreciating what they’re doing, rather it’s not what I expected, and after more listen-throughs before I decide it’s really not for me, that’s what happens. I love that people are enjoying this newer sound, but it’s just not for me

These last two albums were vastly needed. The change up breathed new life into em and they're good at it.
That main tapping riff is giving me serious Dying Is Your Latest Fashion vibes.
Some of Shane's vocal inflections in parts of this track are almost Anberlin-esque. These last two albums man....huge breath of fresh air. They're good at this new sound.
Silverstein never disappoints, always brings us amazing music, thank you! 🤍
One thing I appreciate about this album is literally every harsh vocal Shane produces is easily intelligible. So even my friends that aren't super used to it can understand and better enjoy the song.
My favorite song on the album guys........... Repeat canidate #1
This is one of my favorite songs on this new album. So solid. Also, I don't know if that tapping guitar part is from Josh or Paul Marc guitar but man, who ever played and composed that deserves a beer

It's definitely paul marc that did the tapping guitar, he wrote the song (and most of the album). Also, sick profile pic. ASITS is a fantastic record.

Favourite song on the album! Already a classic! This song is my soul.
my favourite off the album
The bridge is so beautiful, seems like I'm going to listen it on repeat
From the first time I heard this band in 2003 at 20 years old, it feels like Silverstein has grown along with all of us millenials throughout the 2000s. I've come home from a stressful day at work, and this song just hits the spot.

Man, I can't wait to hear this one live 😁 This shit is catchy as fire in a gas tank 🔥
Esta canción es puro fuego 🔥❤️
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOO
This track sounds like it should follow 'The Alter/Mary' on the album : tempo, key, etc
Nice
Is that Buddy Nielsen from Senses Fail guest singing at 1:53?
The guitar was amazing, the drums, the bass everything was amazing! Soo happy to see these guys back in the game, absolutely love it! 🤘

@@jasonlovesmusicreacting882 for a person with the new CBK album as his profile, I doubt it's that they 'don't have that spark' and more that you really only seem to enjoy heavy music. Do something for 20 years (without quitting after less than a year, because you got burned out) and tell me you haven't changed at all 🤷

@@nolankuffner3573 IAAIEIT and DF had a lot more highlights without sounding overly bloated. I feel like their latest work they’re running out of ideas. I’m not saying that this album is bad or anything but just sounds like they’re continuing to be on autopilot. I like a few moments here and there but nothing that is ever really play again…

I totally have the opposite opinion with this album. This one has many “repeat” parts this blows the last 3 albums out of the water
I almost thought it's Jordan Dreyer of La Dispute at 1:53
Anyone catch the reference to John Beatz? hit me like a ton of bricks.
One of only few songs on album which sounds like real Silverstein. This song is easily the best on album and one of the best Silverstein ever recorded. Still waiting for real Silverstein album.

Give me one band, which has stayed the same on 100% throughout their 20+ years career
As someone who has been listening Silverstein since Discovering The Waterfront and big fan of their emo/post hardcore/melodic hardcore punk/pop punk sound I must confess that all albums since Dead Reflection were at best mediocre. Silverstein lost their signature sound, changed too much for my taste but I accept it even it was hard for me. I can fully understand that many fans will listen everything what their favourite band will record and they will appreciate, like even average songs. So I understand that many like or love this new album, but not me. To be fair at least there are 4 songs on new album which I like, this one, Cold Blooded, Misery and one with nothing.nowhere. I still believe and hope that Silverstein will come back to their true sound in 100%.
