The amount of detail is absolutely mindblowing! It's amazing I was used to see this level of production back in the 80s as if it was the standard when in fact it was astonishing! I wasn't able to analyze it like this back then.

MonStarr was interesting. He had the coolest and most badass transformation sequence, but the armored end result was substantially less cool than his hairy normal self.

His transformation always looked so damn painful!! Very cool, but very frightening too.

Hearing the Tally-Hawk cry hits like a bolt of lightning. Awesome job here dude!

The key change and the hook at the end still gives me goosebumps, 80s action cartoons had the most epic theme songs.

Jesus Christ, dude... imagine how majestic would this look in live action, WELL DONE, with today's motion capture, proper designs and insane cgi. If they finally give us that, I will for sure say "Stfu and take my money!".

This one is my second. My favorite is the intro of Thundercats. Specially its first 10 seconds. But they are both great.

I understand that Saturday Morning Cartoons had to go due to change of technology. But, Kids nowadays will never get the feeling of getting amped up by an epic intro seeing that intros have all but disappeared in cartoons.

Kids these days will never know how good we had it in 1986

just when you thought shows like: ThunderCats - Swat Kats: Radical Squadron - Mega Man BattleToads - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - BatMan Biker Mice from Mars - Darkwing Duck had Rock and BadAss to their Intro Openings and Title Names, Here comes SilverHawks with METAL entitled in their name. Which still rocks to this day.

Absolutely stunning!

This stuff years later is still amazing... this short camera pan after "Steel Heart" brings down her face plate...you see the silver hawks bring their face plates down also but just by giving them different timing in conjuctioning with the multi layered pan looks amazing.. almost give it a 3d look, but its hand drawn, 30+ yrs man.. wow. @ 0:21 its quick, don't blink...lol. But I think what sells the scene is Steel Heart looking at the other Silver Hawks.

It had like a "Star Trek meets Chicago P.D." feel with their Commander having a Gruff superficial New-York Accent. They fight crime "in space". Fun Show!
