They sounded exactly the same when they play live. My favorite band when I was in high school. I followed them since Frogstomp. I bought everything about silverchair. I idolized Daniel Johns so much that I drew a portrait of him like a painter and played almost all of their songs by heart. In the early days, I had no access to the internet and tablatures so I had to figure out the guitar riffs on my own. My notebooks in school were full of lyrics and chords. What an awesome experience. The most talented musician that I have ever known.

They sound so different live. In a great way. It's funny, my two favorite bands (Silverchair and Muse) are phenomenal live, and then I see comments like this sometimes. I get that it's a nice way to pay a compliment to a great live band, but what separates them in their lives cuts are the improvisations and organic development of the performance. Seeing em live is just so much more emotional and raw.

I saw them in 2007 also, in July, in NJ. It meant a lot. I was right up front, and came away impressed by how much of a regular, fun guy DJ is (brilliant as he is).

Credits for Daniel's insanity in this show must be given to Pirassununga 51, a very "refreshing" drink here in Brasil. He kills a bottle right after Anthem For the Year 2000

I was there!!! It was this very hot summer in 2003...first and only time I‘ve seen Silverchair! Daniel looked like Jesus, the band jammed and got drunk on stage! Great memory

I was there too. That night was magical. Weather was great ( Not a Common thing at the Nürburgring) i was 20 years old, Emotion Sickness was unforgetable. So many memories!

August 16th 2022. I was 24 when Frogstomp came out. (One of the most iconic Rock albums of all time) Still one of my favorite bands of all time! 😍

8:55 to 9:01 Holy fuckin shit!!!! He did a C#6 !!!!! Have you noticed? That's the whistle register but not whistling! 👀 My gosh! Never heard no one, I mean, a man in pop culture (pop of popular, not because the music genre) doing that besides Dinash or maybe vitas. I thought the most high note was property of Chris Cornell,, a G5 in "Say hello to heaven". I think now he could do more with his voice more tgan he actually did, ih he wanted. Lucky vical chords for a man, not anyone can do that

Even though they are shitfaced on Brazilian rocket fuel they keep the rhythm super well. The blues feel on the interlude sections of the latter songs are amazing.

I THINK they are the rock band that is soo versatile in music genre.they can play pure alternative rock, pop, grunge and now shifted to pop music. A lot of versatility.
