Come on y’all it’s the same guys in the band. They even kept the pedal steel! I’m pretty sure I’ve heard Mike say he never liked the Moonpies name anyway. A lot of good can sometimes come from change. The name doesn’t make the band, the band makes the band. Their old songs will still be there and I’m excited to hear more!

We all knew it would happen eventually. Good Texas bands can't survive in current country music. These guys deserve all the fame and fortune they can get, I just hope they don't stray too far from their roots. I discovered them in early 2016 in Austin and last saw them in Georgia December 2023. I wish them lots of luck in whatever they do. Maybe they'll get Carbone back on the Keyboards.

This is so awesome, but where is the mockingbird album? I noticed it’s not on your new accounts Edit: to anyone commenting on it, I was skeptical of the name change too. If you don’t like the new direction in genre that’s fine too. But if you ever met even one of these guys, you’d know they are seriously the best dudes around. Hearts of gold. Professional as they come. Extremely humble for how amazing their music is. No matter what they play or what they call themselves, they’re going to get the job done right every time.
