I never understood why people dislike Silverstar saying it has no airtime, this video clearly proves it does have a lot of airtime, even one pop of ejector airtime.

My rides on June 17th were trimmed so bad and I literally did not lift out of my seat even though I had room.

Apart from the final run lowest vertical throughout the whole ride is -0.05g, if you have to try multiple different seats to get any airtime then it doesn’t have good airtime

The trims are so obvious that it really impacts ride enjoyment imo. The ride operators turned off the trims for us for one run and it was incredible.

It's forceless, has weak floater airtime, the trims slow it down like crazy... The best part is after the mid-course. It's not a good ride for airtime and this video proves it. Plus it's gotten pretty rough compared to when it opened, but that's pretty normal I guess.

I know a lot of people complain about Silver Star but I rode it today, third row, and my butt did not touch the seat. The ride had serious, sustained floater and felt far more forceful than when I did it two years ago.

Definitely a back row ride

They need to do something about those trims. It only has airtime in the back.

Airtime can range between floater (0g) and ejector (less than 0g) airtime. It clearly has multiple floater airtime moments on every single hill on the ride.

@@Funfair2304 floater air isn’t necessary just 0 g airtime, 0.4-5 gs can also be considered floater

The very typical values of a B&M Hyper Coaster. Maybe a little less than normal because it's Europa Park. I would have wondered if it had gone differently.

Ich bin überrascht. Überall steht, dass die Silverstar 4g hat. Das es jetzt aber nur 3.15 sind erstaunt mich. Hätte gedacht es sei mehr! I'm surprised. It says everywhere that the Silverstar has 4g. The fact that there are now only 3.15 amazes me. I thought it was more!

Kann gut sein dass da viel gerundet wurde und auch die gesamten Kräfte herangezogen werden, statt nur der Vertikalen. Außerdem musst du bedenken dass das eine morgendliche Testfahrt mit leerem Zug war, entsprechend ist der Zug auch langsamer unterwegs als im Tagesbetrieb mit Gästen. It's entirely possible that those 4g claims come from a generous rounding + from the total g-force and not just the vertical. You also have to keep in mind that this was an empty train on a morning test-run and therefore slower than a normal ride during the day. ~Kevin

Brian, Train without visitors (so less heavy) and especially at the opening, so the train wheels are cold. At the end of a summer day with visitors the train has an increase in speed of about 6 to 8Km/h compared to the video

horrible is the wrong word. it is definitly noticeable, but not too bad. In my oponion Silverstar is less smooth than its reputation.

That's not a B&M rattle, thats some shakyness caused by a crane that Fell onto that part of the track during construction. Rest of the ride is fine.

Not really, compared to Euro-Mir and Poseidon, that's nothing. Maybe they could retrack the first valley in a few years, but apart from that, it's fine. It's a bit rattly but not to the point that it would be painful.
