Silver Dollar City 2020 Project Part I (Mystic River Falls)
In late 2018 Silver Dollar City closed down, drained and demolished Lake Silver and The Lost River Of The Ozarks, it is rumored it will likely be a remake of the ride but bigger, better, and wetter. As a former citizen of SDC from the late 80s, early-mid 90s.... I sit here in amazement that people have become obsessed with what happens at SDC. I love it ! ! ! ! ! ! !
even if they really are building a remake, i'll still miss the original. the lost river was always a favorite!
This looks Incredible. It's always hard to upgrade old rides. This way by rebuilding Lost River it can now be reborn for a whole new Generation of park patrons,and aid in making room for something out of this World awesome. With SDC Dreamakers you better bet the World Class Silver Dollar City will make Disney look wimpy. Guarantee it. Just give them a chance to get everything reorganized and you'll see Silver Dollar City has your best interest in heart but sometimes the old has to be reborn.
I talked to them today. They said they are making it bigger and longer, more drops, more chances to get wet and much quicker to get on
CAN'T WAIT TIL IT OPENS!!!! Probably will be June or July.
