Original Hollow Knight Silksong fan music and my submission to the East West 36 composer contest. This piece features the solo violin and solo cello libraries extensively, as well as the Hollywood Orchestra and Fantasy Strings/Woodwinds. Other than a few one-shot samples, this was written almost solely from libraries available in the East West composer cloud. This song is part of a project to create a free and public library for the fantasy RPG community. It is published under a creative commons license. You may use it in monetized works freely. However, you must credit me (Dutonic) in the description of the video, the credits of your film/game etc. The only exception I give to this is live streaming because that's just too much of a hassle. You may use this piece in a livestream and livestream VODs without crediting me whatsoever. Enjoy :)

Wow, this is absolutely gorgeous! I'm really emotional and I tend to cry a lot, and it means I also can cry from something good. And this song is not an exception. I was just sitting, listening to it on repeat and crying from happiness lol. I knew that subscribing to you a few months ago was a great idea. You're really talented and underrated and I wish you the best!

I 100% agree that this song is great, and I'd like to be able to cry to things I like but it doesn't seem I'm capable of being this emotional... or maybe I just don't express it the same way, no idea. You know that feeling of energy flowing through your body? Sometimes you can cause half-willlingly cause it but when it comes by itself (ex: ending of an awesome game) you know there's really something

quite frankly I'm hoping team cherry hires Dutonic for the silksong soundtrack, or at least a large component. this does well in blending the style of music commonly associated with the knight with the themes of hornet. not only her boss music but also, to my understanding from the trailer and teased/leaked game features the gameplay as well

I’ve seen some virtuoso string players do some pretty crazy stuff. Maybe some of the jumps are unreasonable, I’ve never played a string instrument, but it wouldn’t surprise me if this was playable
