People dont mention T.R.U like they should, i greatly appreciate being apart of The NoLimit Era, Silkk is an unorthodox artist and was definitely ahead of the curve! and people forget Silkk and Jay Z's 1st albums came out in 1996 under Priority Records Distribution Salute!.

Cant even lie, most people i knew thought Silkk was wack, only because we was brought up on mostly East Coast hiphop. I kinda used to be swayed by my peers and clowned Silkk. But they thing is, as I got older I realised I still played his shit. So in reality I actually liked some of my guys music and features AND bought his label's records. My guy was on some classics and didn't let the side down Ghetto Dope, Pimp Shit, Bourbons and Lacs, Miss my homies always got played. Wish I wasn't so easily swayed as a teen. Silkk definitely ahead of his time 🙌🏿

Lookin bk I think I always saw Silkk as waaaaaaaay separate from No Limit. Almost like he was a constant feature from another label. But everytime he came on I was following his lyrics like I use to study Bone Thugs. In a way he was my favorite on a certain level
