I have been an Anderson Paak stan since his Malibu album. You REALLY need to look at and react to his NPR Tiny Desk…his live performances show how gifted he is on his own. But I, now, have a respect for Bruno Mars. This music and style IS who he is…its appreciation while paying it forward and acknowledging black music& its influence as it should be. I grew up on funk& soul in the 90’s and I’m loving the whole group!!! Great reaction 🤩🤩🤩🤩

This performance is everything! I love Anderson's confidence, he is just a great pair with Bruno! And Bruno being in a role of back singer here is just amazing! They are just perfectly composed together. And I have this album on repeat :)

It's the whole package! Their personalities draws me in. Their interview with Apple music was really informative about their journey and the work behind the music

IT IS THE WHOLE PACKAGE THE DANCING THE HARMONY THE LOOK . THE SONG IS GREAT A MASTERPIECE WHOLE ALBUM.

I am fan of both Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak. When the stars were aligned then there was Silk Sonic. I love Silk Sonic vocal talent. Silk Sonic entire cd is 🔥🔥🔥. It took me back when I grew up in the 70's, watching Soul Train, and listening to groups like Brass Construction, Con Funk Shun, Earth, Wind, and Fire, the Ohio Players, Harold Melvin and the Blue Noles featuring Teddy Pendergrass, Kool And The Gang, Parliament Funkadelic, Bootsy Collins, The Dells, The Delfonics, The Temptations, The Spinners, The Barkay's, Brass Construction, Bobby Womack and more. I love Silk Sonic's background singers also. Can any tell me there names and were they apart of Bruno Mars band the Holigans? Thanks

The backup singers/dancers are Kameron Whalum and James King from Bruno’s band, The Hooligans. Kameron is a trombonist and James is a trumpeter. They sing, dance and play their instruments in all of Bruno’s live shows.

I love how they did the old Soul Train background you saw a whole bunch when it ran Saturday a lot in the 70's to the 90's.

Anderson and Burno are a great combination together. This is what I called real classy music not trash. We need more music like this .

My fav aspect is your point: the blend. Bruno is committed to making the best music & performance possible for the group, which he perceives as pushing APaak forward at times, letting us here his voice, then also blending, as well as their contrast as a group sound. They both respect the craft backing &/or blending vocals & all else for the effect of the whole package which clearly in this case results as frickin incredibly awesome! Great enjoyable & informative reaction. 👍🎶

Bruno and Anderson are the perfect match❤️🔥everything about them is perfect. They are both very talented musicians and Bruno is an extreme perfectionist in all aspects❤️ I didn’t know Andy before he Got with Bruno, but I’m so glad he did, he is the perfect match of talent and great personality❤️ They both contributed to this project, but make no mistake, Bruno IS this project, as I read somewhere, it was recorded in his studio with his engineers and all his musicians from his band The Hooligans and ofcorse his connections (Babyface). I’m sure that Anderson contributed just as much, just saying that Bruno is the star and knows what he wants❤️

I love the whole package everything they do is fabulous

I love how they reinvented disco in a modern way. Finally!!! Disco is just such a fun vibe and no matter who you are, a person can just feel good and groove to it. They fully nailed the disco soul sound, down to the horn section, harmonies, then oh, lets just throw in Hip Hop....this song and entire album is pure fire!

It's just so groovy. You can't help but move with it. Great musicians and music can make you fee the music in your body when you hear it. And that's exactly what Mars and Paak are doing with Silk Sonic!!!

Check out his appearance on the PBS Tiny Desk concerts. Had more views than anyone else. I would also recommend “Put on a Smile” from Silk Sonic’s new album. It’s a really nice ballad.

Anderson Paak IS indeed a crazy talented musician. I know it sounds wild to say, but it’s my opinion that it’s fairly debatable who is the better musician. Bruno and Anderson are two of the best musicians on the planet and I still can’t believe we are getting to witness this collaboration. Bruno can play many instruments aka can sing like the greatest of all time. .Paak is one of the most talented percussionists in the game, he can rap and his vocals are severely underrated. I mean, there’s a reason he’s collaborated with THE Smokey Robinson. Dudes legit, people just didn’t know it yet, but they are learning now

I love this Silk Sonic group. This was genius on Bruno Mary calab. They are bringing the old funk back and older groups. I enjoy your reactions.

What’s my favorite part of Silk Sonic? Umm ALLLLLL if it. The band as a whole! I liked them as artists before and knew they were very talented, and definitely saw Bruno as one of the best vocalists/dancers of our gen, but after I saw Smokin Out the Window and the Apple Music interview right before the album was dropping I was like damn, we are witnessing a huge point in music with these two coming together. I’m now obsessed.

Fantastic charismatic performers singing great music ..They are unbelievably talented whether they singing/dancing /playing instructions or writing ... They exude fun with this album and hope they continue to release music together .. The whole performance of them and back ground guys reminds me of growing up in the 70,s and when life was much more laid back and easier great times ..Soul train such a cool programme ...😁😁😁

This is a true collaboration - Bruno + Anderson + Band. They wrote these songs and creatively conceived this album concept together. You do the group as a whole a disservice by focusing on Bruno. Again Anderson is no new “guest appearance” singer. He is a Grammy Award winning artist, a superior drummer with multiple hit albums under his belt, a huge fan base, and a long list of collabs with everyone from Dr. Dre to Smokey Robinson.

I think my favorite part of the group is the instrumentation. I’m from New Orleans and I grew up around lives instruments playing all around me. I played clarinet and piano as a kid. I thoroughly enjoy the group as a whole but I love the band.

Truthfully, in the world of Pop Music, Silk Sonic is a refreshing example of pure professional musical talent. The songs are very well put together and their musical ideas are phenomenal. The songs are very witty. Pop music is so boring. The same chords and the same progressions over and over. Silk Sonic's chord progressions and the color tones they have chosen are just perfect. As a pianist, I personally prefer Jazz to Pop, however, these guys remind me of old school R&B. It is just so delicious.
