Your timing is impeccable! I was literally checking your channel for a Learn to Play series, so I'm thrilled you're in communication with Brien!

We've been trying to find the time for a while now, just haven't had a chance to catch him with some free time. Similar situation with Fall of Tobruk but they are on the docket to be done.
I got one on the way. I hope I can wrap my head around it... Vibrant colors and a real quality look to it!

It's definitely top shelf from Compass!
Love the game
Where do you rank this solo sub game? Are there others that are better?
Thanks for a very detailed unboxing, as always 😀 I love the naval stuff but moving away from the solitaire design (I prefer to have a smarter opponent then the AI and don't need to learn 2 different systems to manage mine and opponent's units) to playing games 2-handed and this one didn't make the cut...

Not everyone loves solo specific designs, it's understandable.
Interesting looking game Moe. I am a big fan of the ww2 submarine games. I may have to consider this one down the line. Well I am heading to the table to play Into the Woods: Battle of Shiloh from GMT Great Battles of American Civil War series.

Its on the list. Got some other games ahead of it but its there.@@MoesWargames
I have a copy of the first print but these solo mission simulators dont do it for me. I just cant get invested in an individual sub out on a mission or a campaign. Even so there is part of me thats thinks I am missing something so I will come back and try it again.

Solo specific games aren't always going to grab everyone, that's understandable. But if you approach it as the Pacific sub commander ordering boats on missions, it might resonate a little better. You're not the skipper of the boat, but the big cheese, the head honcho. ;)
