Thanks!!
Fantastic job on this one my friend! I'm seriously enjoying your tone and riffage as everything sounds extremely crisp! Your video editing and overall audio quality is on point as well not to mention that gorgeous Stingray! Where Silent Planet are also such a huge influence, perhaps you’d enjoy our new playthrough we dropped recently! Either way keep up the amazing work brother, really looking forward to seeing your future covers and bass videos! 🤘🏻

Sick tone mate! Dope cover! 🔥
Killer tone. Care to share the signal chain?

Sure it's basically three signal chains. 1. Clean: Straight out of the amp head (preFX) -> Amplitube 5 (Rock SVX Pro 1 Preset) -> EQ (low pass @350Hz) -> MultiBand 2. Dist1: Straight out of the amp head (preFX) -> NeuralDSP Darkglass Ultra -> Amplitube 5 (Bright Pick SVX-Pro Preset) -> EQ (bandpass 450Hz & 4kHz) 3. Dist 2: PostFX out of amp head -> EQ (bandpass 300Hz & 3.3kHz) -> LA3A plug-in 4. Bass master bus: Multiband compressor C4 -> L1 Limiter I also carve out about 130Hz from the backing track to let the bass pop out in that area.
Great cover ! Could you tell me what is your tuning? Also, any chances you would share the tab ? I'm trying to figure it out but I'm having a hard time 😅

Tuning info is usually in the video description. No tabs for this unfortunately.
May I please ask what's the tuning for this song?

It’s in drop D. You can also check out tunings for my videos in the video description

@@TheCeezeif you can sing at all I would seriously recommend just doing like a live playthrough of a couple songs in a row. Doesn’t hurt to try if you want. I know Marcus got into Northlane by doing good KZread covers

@@godsfool5284 As much as I'd love to tour with Silent Planet, I'm just not looking for that opportunity at the moment, but I appreciate the sentiment! The last time I saw them live with their fill-in bass player, I thought he did a really good job. Also singing and playing is incredibly difficult for me, so I don't think I pull it off, haha.

@@TheCeeze no worries I’m just fantasizing of doing it myself but I don’t play bass so vicariously living through you haha
That's fantastic. Well done. This may as well be a guitar cover, too, because I know Mitch recorded the guitar parts on a bass, hence the overall chonky sound. Though they are played slightly differently, so then again, maybe not? Either way, bravo.

Sometimes I make stupid faces when I’m trying to get the timing right.
