well i heard about it too, truck driver in russia or eastern europe u could find it in youtube has some strange shit too, the guy said, if u not sleep enough, tiredness can hallucinate things, so just get rest, and eat well.

I get the feeling why Alessa in Origins giving these unwanted silent treatments throughout the game is because she was just burned alive and was kinda pissed about it lol.

Travis and Murphy, the only Silent hill protagonists so chad that they can beat demonic beings to death with their bare hands.

I played this on PSP back in the day, thanks so much for the revisit!

i am 100% sure you would need a blanket to carry alessa out of the burning house without getting third degree burns yourself because of how physically hot her charred body would be.

As I play the game at my psp.. First I was confused at the story but as you go on .. Damn it so sad.. Being hated by your own mother and telling you that you're a devil And your father lied to you that your mom was dead. And your father couldn't bare it all then he suicide.. And keeping it all to you 😢😢 Then you uncovered it all Like can you handle that ?

This game, along with SH2 and 3, gave me a genuine fear of exploring the surroundings

Did you never get the opportunity to play the original Silent Hill on PS1? I was horrified the entire time.

@@marieanne286 yes i did, while on lockdown, after playing origins, shattered memories, 2 and 3 (from 2018 to 2020). But honestly, unlike the other titles, the graphics gap was too large for me and i didn t went crazy for sh1

@@powerpope940 That makes sense, it's too bad you couldn't have played it back when it first came out, because it was a truly memorable and haunting experience. This is why I hope, one day, that they will do a remake of SH1, it really needs it more than any of the other games due to its exclusivity to the first playstation.

@@marieanne286 you're welcome! I ordered it in april 2020 when I was in full SH frenzy, I didn't really play it (but realized about the seams on people's face playing it on an xbox 360). Right after completing SH 2, 3 and 1 I became briefly obsessed with rally games. It always happens to me, my fav gente changes every 2 or 3 months

travis is probably my fav silent hill protag

SH Origin's was pretty good but it's problems were it's story. this game tried to focus on being a prequel to SH1 with part's of Travis's own psychological subplot but failed to keep a consistent balance on focusing which both. If it had focused more on Travis's story subplot without the game being a direct prequel then it would have been a good Silent Hill game what they should have done was give us more of a reason why Travis decided to come to the town in the first place and have the writing more similar to SH2's story where it's only about the protagonist's personality issues and have the player choose different scenarios that would lead to Travis doing something good or bad that would effect the ending instead of depending on how many enemies you killed. Climax Studios did this game right with the atmosphere but they should have had some areas giving an unsettling mysterious vibe that the player couldn't understand and fix the combat by lowering the grabbing distance of the monsters or make QTE grabbing a punishment for missing charged attacks.

I was going to play this on to the ps2 but when I play on me tv the volume. Goes low. And it goes to this fuzzy sound my tv work fine on ps4 and 3 but why nit 2 any i just fort to watch it and did it need a preaqual cause i font think si

This is in my opinion the only good Silent Hill game that was developed by western Devs. Homecoming and Downpour are utter doo doo

I don’t think downpour deserves as much hate as it got. Yeah it had a horrible launch and it doesn’t live up to the standards of the first 4, but it’s not the worst. I agree though. Homecoming was just awful on every level

I don't think it's a bad game, and it was good to get backstory. It's a little less intensely bizarre, which could be taken either way. I'm not sure that I liked this depiction of Alessa. Being furious, changeable, terrified, clingy, vengeful etc I can get. I'm just a bit less keen on the silence.
