One of the rare gems that you can find only if you look in the darker depths. Many mistake Silent Hill for nothing but evil, sinister and creepy themes. But for me, I find calmness and good music, and things to relate to.

Silent Hill's music is like a mental journey. Carries the two sides in a whole, the calm and where are just you, anxiety, an unknown sensation about the fog and its fight against the indecipherable psychological putrefaction of forgotten memories that it outlines.

Beautiful song and since it’s so similar to SH1’s results theme, it wouldn’t surprise me if this was a beta version of the results theme for SH3; especially since this goes unused

The background drums vaguely sound like the same drums used in SH1's track "Eternal Rest".

@@dylanroemmele906 A lot of SH sounds come from the Spectrasonics Distorted Reality sample CDs. I have all of them on my PC and I've been thinking of making some tracks with them.

This feels like trying to remember a simple innocent childhood memory. But the more you try to remember it the more your mind has to fill in the blanks. Normal people become distorted and uncanny, you can see where the world ends. At some moments it feels normal but at others it feels like a hellscape. The first four Silent Hill games and there OST's invoke the strangest feelings in me.

I love this one! Especially since it sounds like it has a lot of layers of different sounds to it.

Silent hill study beats and chill

You know, people saying that this should be in the first Silent Hill, i think of it as a homage to Harry since Cheryl's raised to be like Harry, to defend herself from Silent-Hill.

So relaxing....It remember me another konami game: Yu-gi-oh! Forbideen Memories for PSX. A song like that was played when you choose cards or in the menu for choose whether see your cards, move, save, etc...

Since i discovered Silent hill games around 2004, i felt in love with the saga.. now in 2020 with 31 yo, its the music i listen to calm myself, for sleep and work as a developer it helps to focus.

it's the 100th i play this banger, there's just something so nice about it, i can't get enough of it i fucking love this.

The amount of unused tracks from all there titles they probably could have made two more games out of them.

This feels like a remix using the core elements and instruments of the 4 games, a masterpiece.

I love the atmosphere you get from that short bit around 1:23 to 1:37 , it's too bad it's so short.

I love this kind of crooked and demented Trip Hop, it reminds me of Third from Portishead, one of my favourite albums of all time. Also, this feels like it came directly from SH1.

gosh this sounds makes me so relaxing.

I feel like if i accidentally left this on and fell asleep and woke up with it still playing id have an irrational fear response like when animals come out of a seizure

ya know, a part of me feels like that this was a song recorded around the time sh1 was being developed. just structurally and sound wise, they are extremely similar. then again, im sure this could have been a soundtrack to help replicate that tone of the first game as well. anyone know if that is the case?

It is one of the best survival horror video game franchises out there. If you are not really into videogames, I highly recommend you to listen to all of the OSTs of the orginal series: Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3 and Silent Hill 4: The Room. You'll find a lot of tunes like this one. The same energy, if you know what I mean
