Silent e Quizzes | Magic e | Long Vowels

When a word ends with a vowel followed by a consonant and then a silent "e," the last letter "e" doesn't make a sound.
This last letter "e" is called a silent e or magic e.
In these cases, the vowels before the consonants are long vowels:
Long "a" makes the sound [ei]
Long "i" makes the sound [ai]
Long "o" makes the sound [ou]
Long "u" makes the sound [u:]
This video is a review of long vowels in a phonics course, specifically when words have a silent "e" at the end.
Children can understand the long vowel sounds by solving quizzes.
