As someone who has been diagnosed with epilepsy and has to take anti seizure pills aswell I can understand how the medication's side effects can be hard to deal with. Amazing work as always ❤️

@w@ they put me on keppra and I'm FINALLY starting to stabilize but I was sleeping twenty hours a day for WEEKS!!! This stuff is no joke, it really knocks you for a loop!! But I've had three seizures in three years now so they won't let me get away with not taking anything rip

oh gosh that sounds horrible D: Hope the both of you are doing alright on your medication now! I would make the joke of "SleEpiNg fOr sO LoNg SouNDs GrEAT!!1" but I've slept for that long before (trauma stuff. mind just went "nope" and I ceased to exist p much) and even though it was only one day it was AWFUL.

Most meds have side effects due to them basically being chemical bombs for your body. It's better to just socialize (even if you're introverted), eat healthy, and not just shove whatever you think is okay into your body on a daily basis. I don't thankfully have to deal with such a disorder but I empathize with anyone who does. Considering I've lost people I know or know people that have either died or been permanently hospitalized due to meds, which is why I say the things I do. Not every issue can be solved with a pill, God bless you all!

I can relate to looking back and not having sympathy for your past self. You just think those feelings were so pointless. You forget that they weren't pointless at the time. Edit: Just realised I used the word sympathy instead of empathy. And yet sympathy is still more fitting, making this even sadder.

Thank you so much! I've been doing a lot of personal editing on the songs I use for memes lately, like adding in little intros/outtros, looping choruses- adding in actual new audio is the wildest thing i've done so far, but it came out exactly how I wanted and I couldn't be happier!

Your description is very helpful and didn’t really confuse me! It kinda makes sense in a way, although everyone has different experiences, desensitization is something I’ve experienced. I think through emotions so I can't express myself very well with words, but I have to say that I FELT every second of this work of art. As someone who has been through something similar, now in the future I have conflicting emotions with my past self, so I have instantly connected with the animation. (Which I also have to say, is impressive. Very clean, fluid and let's not even get started on the expressions, drawings and general composition.... woakalah.)

This was good, To put such nuance in such a short span of time is genuinely impressive!

Class clown you could say is Jack Damons, plays his own riddles really well. If you dont guess it in time one of your limbs or organs, will be taken. Or even you will be wounded in diffrent ways, the riddles are confuseing and hard to answer, youd have to be crazy like him to answer them. For answering them all correctly though, he gets mad and throws you around telling you to fight him. Dont worry i got it recorded of the previous test subjects he uses the same riddles again and again like a broken radio.

Wiggly hand gesture? I kinda felt like doing something a little different this time, I sketched the circle-y eyes in one of my storyboard frames and went huh! I like that. Let's do that through the whole thing so it's consistent. I think it worked well for the very flat expressions, but blinking is funky and I like drawing anime eyes lol

The description says: This video... is a little more abstract than some of my others! But the story I wanted to tell here, the theme I wanted to convey is... this almost adversarial dynamic between the memory of my younger self and my current self, if that makes any sense. Both in that, my self-destructive nature as a teenager threatened my old self, but my own current self's resentment of how i FELT at that time sometimes manifests as a resentment for myself during that time... Teenage me looks in the mirror and sees blood that isnt there, while in the future i look back impassively, so desensitized to my own misery i dont always even feel pity anymore. i remember, as a teenager, sometimes thinking about who i might be in the future and being angry and not even knowing why. But I was having a very difficult time. So this concept is... a little difficult to explain, but I hope I can convey the FEELINGS, at least. Also, yes, I did the audio edit for this and yes you can use it! I really wanted to use my favourite parts of the song, so I layered the choruses together, cut in the end and intro bits and I actually recorded and added one extra little giggle in there for some oomph lol.
