♢ ABOUT G.M. DANIELSON ♢
G.M. Danielson works as a professional voice actor and sound engineer, producing boutique audiobook content with a nod to the great radio dramas of the past. His pet project, The Talemaster, began with a singular vision to offer listeners and aesthetes of horror an unusually personalized experience. A strong believer in the social component of business, he spends a great portion of his efforts engaging and corresponding with the fans and supporters of his storytelling. In a world where meaningful social interaction is an ever-changing - and, to some, a declining - art form, G.M. Danielson is a rare gem.

I've listened to Edgar Allan Poe's stories so many times, but I never get tired of them. I love the way you breathe life with different styles of narrating your videos, especially Poe's.

Nor do I, they are like all true literature in that they reward each rereading.
I really like this voice/technique. I find it a challenge to follow but it suits this story perfectly. There's something soothing and yet horrifying in the whispered speech,👹

It's so unlike anything else Poe wrote, certainly not what people associate with Poe "on the street," but it has a haunting quality waiting to be exploited.

@@TheTalemaster well said good sir
Who would have thought a whisper would be the most appropriate voice for a story? You've hit the mark again, Sir! Incidentally, I wonder if Poe might have been recording a dream here? What imagery to have floating through one's brain!
Poe++. Perfect rendition.

Thank you.
My fav❤️💪🏼
This is awesome. Have you narrated Ambrose Bierce by chance? Your technique is perfect for his stuff!
I LOVE your rendition of this, so much that "narration" felt like too cheap a word to use lol

Honored by your comment, Cole.
I really like the soundscape in the background of this one. Perhaps there is a reason that you chose for it to be whispered, but I have a feeling that I would have enjoyed it more it you had read it with your regular voice. I feel it might be difficult to present variance in a whisper, or perhaps the background sound was too dominant, as it felt too much the same for me. It is very hard to tell. That being said, I think the sound quality of the recording itself is excellent; crisp in its clarity. Also, I like that you occasionally trilled the letter 'r' in places. One doesn't come across that often these days.

So this is a story about a demon just ranting at a guy right?

If you want it to be about that, it certainly can be about that. However, that's not what it's about 🤣
