Yes no contact works for both people because it allows you to heal and let them appreciate you. When they broke up with they threw you away as garbage or treat like a dog until the rat got the gun. The situation will flip eventually especially if you were a good person. Don't do anything let them come back to you in their own way.

My relationship was long distance and he wants someone closer. What sucks the most is that you and another person shared so many little moments that no one else had with you. It’s as if this certain language only existed between two people. Absolutely on point, I'm dealing with a breakup and bought the kit and watched the videos. Lee is on point. I went from a bad breakup where she was threatening to call the cops, to we have spent most of the last two weeks together including a vacation. It's been amazing.

He blocked me on everything...went to his house, ( 7 year relationship here) knocked on door, wouldn't answer...i just left quietly...no more from me...his turn.

Its been almost four months and still hurts but kinda better than the first few months. We were able to chat on the 3rd month and he told me to always take care of myself and also asked about how is my family. It was a long exchange of text msgs but thats it. She cancelled at last second. Second time I knew better and sent her back to him saying it’s not fair to him. Currently, she is 6 months pregnant with his child as they are unmarried and have been together < 1yr. Thank God I walked away.

Heartbreaking to see the amounts of posts from people all over the world with breaking hearts 😭 I'm guilty of watching these clips to. I'm 40 and gone through a lot of heartbreak in my life. It hurts.. It takes apart of you away. But trust me you always end up finding yourself again. Just don't allow the pain to change u as a person. Never go into a rebound relationship. Short term affection isn't want your heart really wants. We must all learn to accept its over no matter what we do or seek advice.. Life isn't meant to be easy. ( I wish it was) just never be available to someone that disrespects u. Actions always speak louder then words. Invest in yourself.. Stand back a little and take time. No rush... No contact don't work trust me, and even if it does its never the same.. And never judge your Self worth on people that treat you like shit.. Normal people don't hurt others. They have issues.. It has taken me more than 5 years to get over my wife and to understand myself; but i am the better for having done so. Just be yourself! Do not - I REPEAT DOOO NOTTTTT talk About getting back together. Control your emotions and enjoy the moment. Flirt alittle but also reserve yourself, meaning don't push yourself on her. If she asks you if you are seeing anybody, simply say you are keeping your options open and living your life to the fullest. If she try's to engage in any movement towards you by holding your hand or kissing you, allow it but also LET HER MAKE THE MOVE FIRST. SHOW YOUR OK WITH OR WITH HER. Coach Lee, just 3 months after backing out of my graduation party, my ex took me pumpkin picking and told me that she was moving away from her parents’ house. I started no contact differently . Mutual break up but it’s mainly on her side. After a week of trying to be friends I told her I needed time to myself. In the two months of not talking to her I realized my issues, put a plan to fix the issues and now in a completely different mindset. I no longer care for the outcome, but I did reach back out so she knows I’m better now with or without her. taking things slow and no longer worried about the future, instead focusing in the present

12:20 His best friend, a mutual friend, just called. He sounded very nervous and was asking a lot of strange questions. He got a lot of information to take back to my ex. I have been knowing him for many years and he has never called me on the phone. So the reason for the call is obvious. My ex has been on full block since March 2020.

I deleted him from all social media and before every time he changed a profile picture then I would contact him .. now it has been almost 3 months NC, 6 months break up .. he changed his WhatsApp pictures like 2weeks 10 days once .. first it was him hiking whatever events outside , second is in 10 days I’ve already saw tow pictures of them having fun in snow .. it’s like he want the world knows he has a gf , the frequency of he changed his profile during these 4 months more thanwe were together for 16 months 🙄

Hi Coach Lee. Thank you so much for all the videos you made. My ex broke up with me two months ago but we have been still living together until two weeks ago. I started the no contract thing to him only few days ago but he just kept reaching to me like three days after n kept asking me to hang out n help him to pack his stuff before him moving out from our old place. He mentioned that I look healthier, happier and more relaxed when we started hanging out again. (I have lost a few pounds n has been being less emotional for the last two weeks) We had a really good time after not seeing each other for more than a week, which we haven’t have such a great n relaxing time for a year while we were still together already. And we even had sex after a few drinks, which he started making out to me n I can tell the way that he treated me n interacted with me during the whole process is so different from the last year of our relationship. He obviously feeling more relaxed n we both enjoyed it more than before which he has been thinking about breaking up with me for a year already. What is my ex thinking?

Honestly I'm not even doing No Contact and I'm not looking to win my ex back (dude dumped me a month before our wedding and left me stranded in a foreign country with no money and visa issues, he can get bent), but as much as my brain is happy he's gone, my heart still hurts and just watching these videos is a massive comfort. Thank you. I literally fall asleep to them at night when I can't handle the pain, and watch them again during the day when I can actually absorb your message.

I cried in front of her she was as cold as the devil, she said no,my mum was there tried to beg her on my behalf but she was adamant, I had lost everything my job my business n my wife of 3 years. I tried to even kill myself but now I'm just healing one of at a time

The more people sending good energy your way the better! I'm so sorry to hear about your wife, but maybe in this case rejection is protection... if she could be that cold to you, that's not someone you want as a wife. You deserve better. Positive vibes and love to you, life has another plan for you, you just have to hold on and hang in there until you can see it 💖

I'd move on

All of us hurting, we're just putting on a brave face and mostly faking it that we're feeling great and that's a good way to start. These videos give you hope but I'm not sure living in hope is the best thing to do. Moving on is the only thing to do which currently is what I'm struggling with because I truly loved them and they hurt me. My reaction to their disrespect led to the breakup. Logically I know they're flawed and i can do better than them but their presence still lingers in my thoughts day and night. I'm struggling, it's been almost 3 months of hard NC. Hope to get through this soon.

My ex reached out to me after about 2 weeks. Short casual conversation. We have exchanged subtle casual texts back and forth. She lives right next door which makes things feel weird. After the breakup, I expressed a willingness to talk things over. It either works or it doesnt. I have practiced the NC. Only responding when she contacts me. I would like to work things out. But she is soooo stubborn. She will fight things like this out of spite regardless of what people tell her. I can tell she is struggling with the decision. We were in love afterall. Hate to say I am waiting but. I am using the time to better myself. But hope the opportunity comes where her and I can sit down and discuss it. She did initially block me on facebook, later unblocking me. She is allowing her kids to do activities with me again. So time will tell. She knows I am not interested in just friendship.

Wishing I saw these vids sooner since I didn’t let us break up. We broke up January and kept talking until he just did a 180 and asked for us to not talk. After this I kept my same schedule and so did he, gym everyday at the same time and he would look at me multiple times and look for me but then act like he didn’t see me when he’d walk by. He looks miserable and so do I. I had to reach out for some important info he had on Sunday and he was instantly replying, flirting, and making conversation. He even saved a photo of us in the chat?? I ended the conversation and am now implementing the NC. Fingers crossed because we actually are very very good for each other just needed some self growth before moving forward.

LOL! This is so true! So many of my friends do this on social media and I can’t help laughing and somehow feel a bit bad about them. About what they’re going through.

Everyday is hard it is getting easier but it’s still messing me up. Such a sad situation. She reaches out already but there’s no I love you or anything like that. I try to keep talking to a min and only talk about the kids and make it a point to tell her the things I’m fixing that was an issue without blatantly pointing them out. Like things in the house ( just working on the house) is my response to wyd, or how’s your day.

I’ve been in no contact for little over 2 weeks. She posted a picture of her and her new boyfriend on WhatsApp yesterday, but I’m not budging. No contact works and I’m sticking to it. Awesome video coach!!

I firmly believe and I stand by this 100%, that no contact after being in a relationship should be illegal. That shit is torture at THE VERY LEAST! IT'S INHUMANE AND PUTRID! I would love to find the person that thought this was a good idea. And make sure that he's never able to be contacted ever again. Unless it's the spirit world contacting him.

Coach, she asked for space and I am giving her what she wants. I’m about 10 days into no contact and I got into my #1 choice graduate school last night. I put it on my snap story and the next morning I wake up to this from her “Hey I’ve been going back and forth about whether or not I should text you but I do really want to congratulate you on getting into NYU. That is such a huge accomplishment and I am very happy for you! I know this is something you would have wanted to call me about but I do appreciate you giving me space and respecting boundaries. I wasn’t sure if texting you would bring up any bad feelings or awkwardness, so that is why I hesitated to do so initially. You don’t even have to respond to this or anything I just wanted to congratulate you because this is a big deal and you should be proud of yourself. I hope that you are doing well and I’m sure that in time we will talk about this a lot more.” I am wondering if I should validate this with a small response thanking her or just keep no contact... she said herself I don’t have to respond. I’m wondering if not responding will just boost her curiosity or make it seem like I’m being cold.

@@naiko6700 Ultimately no, but the door isn’t completely closed. She is studying abroad in London for the next year and neither of us really wanted to do long distance. But we are still close friends and there is the possibility of something happens when she returns to the states. I’m not “waiting” for her, but like I said the door isn’t completely shut so who knows. We started up talking again after like 3 months no contact. I think NC is a good method to use, just make sure you don’t overdo it or act cold when/if the other person does reach out.

U can't be fixed by the person who broken you

Hey Coach, here's my situation : My ex dumped me on the 14th of December. She only reached out on Christmas day, and on New Year's Eve by sending me a picture of some soaps she had made and to wish me a happy new year. I wished her the same but did not carry the conversation as I did not really pick on the "indirect/direct approach". After that, she reached out this sunday and we saw each other that same afternoon. Things were great, we laughed and joked a lot, like nothing bad had ever happened to us and our relationship. We even poked fun at each other in trying to make the other a little jealous about possible people that we dated during our time apart. At the end of the meetup, I felt good and went for the kiss, but she turned her head and said that she was unsure of her feelings. I didn't try to convince her of anything, I just walked away with a smile and she said : "see you soon, maybe"...I'm in no contact right now and I haven't heard from her since. I guess I won't ever but at least I think I handled it pretty well. Go figure.I also learned that a rebound was involved. He had dumped her a few days before her reach out, I'm assuming that's why she did it. What do you think of it ? Will I hear from her or is she just playing games with me by putting me in backup plan mode ? Maybe I gave out a needy vibe and spooked her away...Thanks a lot.

God bless you sir your a excellent coach. Number 8 is the same exact thing my ex did he had his cousin call me and as me where is Jim at. I told him you know he not with me what the hell are you calling me for.

I was with my girlfriend for nearly 6 years. This past weekend before Christmas, I proposed to her and asked her to be my wife. She told me that her being scare of becoming sick from Covid-19 and being a better mother outweighed her desire for me. I was totally floored. It left me angry, sad, and just numb....been watching these videos for the past 12 days for some advice and help.
