Most of the time people sympathize with Marilyn because of all the suffering she endured. But at the same time, she and Yves also caused hurt, in this case to Simone who was friend to her.

This was beautiful and touching, so different from all those English speaking documentaries

First of all, thank you for your uploads and content! Haven't seen this one, excited to sit down and watch!! Also, any thoughts on Kim K wearing Marilyn's dress to the Met? I know a lot of us in the community are upset (read: enraged) and I wanted to hear your take.

Thank you so much! Ha well I wrote a post on my Instagram about it : instagram.com/p/CdFyX04MzC4/?igshid=YTM0ZjI4ZDI= TL;DR - I think the intention wasn’t malicious but it still was unnecessary. Now I don’t believe Marilyn would have cared much because the iconic nature of this dress appeared much later, when people started spinning crazy rumours about her and the Kennedys. It’s a shame but I’m more bothered about Kim getting some of her hair than the dress (:

Tres beau documentaire , belles illustrations et choix d’extraits de clips. J’ai adoré. Le seul bémol, bien que le texte soit tres bien écrit et basé sur des faits réels, c’est la voix de Gerard Miller, qui est fade . C’est dommage.

What a fine, fine documentary! Turn on your English closed captioning (or maybe you don't need them - I did), and enjoy a film with a fresh take on the Marilyn/Montand/"Let's Make Love" drama. The movie is filled with - oh, skip it. I just deleted four paragraphs of blather. (You're welcome! Haha!) just watch it.

Il est très dommage que le sous titrage, la "traduction" française soit un tel tissu de fautes monstrueuses, au point d'enlever quelquefois toute signification aux faits qui se déroulent sur l'écran. Je n'ai jamais vu pareille nullité, par moments c'est de l'absolu n'importe quoi, et c'est dommage. Une personne malentendante qui lirait le texte ne comprendrait absolument rien.
