in U(t-t0)^k amplitude is 1 that's why multiplying amplitude n times it is 1. But Y axis is t0 which will also get multiplied to become t0^2 . Is this correct ??

Priya Tiwari it's like say a unit step function graph,which had zero magnitude before time less than zero.But at t=0 it suddenly takes magnitude 1.This is what is called sudden rise of signal.

In continuous unit step signal,at the 0.2 interval,the amplitude is 1...not only at that interval,the amplitude should be 1 at any interval in unit step signal..mam just took an example
