Good morning gentlemen. So nice to see you guys this fine day. I saw your gun rest and I have that same rest and the hammer next to it. Anyway, great information as usual. I don't own a Kibler but I do have a Pedersoli frontier. It's the closest I have to your Kibler. Looks as if lowering the powder charge might do the trick. Perhaps using a little more than 25 grains but the test does not lie. And off the subject a bit. I would love to show you guys what I've done with my India made Marine Charleville. I might be bias, but I think it's the prettiest Charleville around. She's my Blond bombshell.

Admiring your old Plumb hammer. My Paw Paw and my Dad bought one each in 1954. I still have Dad's and if I needed it, it would still work. No telling how many barns my Dad's hammer built. I have my own bought in 1982, the old ones are made of stern stuff. Y'all are going to tempt me into getting a Kibler kit yet.

Good shootin guys! To me, the Kibler is always enjoyable to watch, using a paper target or steel. I guess you can set up a paper target in front of a klinker so Jake would be only half bored…

I ordered a SMR kit from Kibler. Also in Cherry. I would like to know what you did to the stock. I have no experience in this. Also would like to get into making my own black powder as well. But where to start?!?!

as for making the black powder our good friend jake from everything black powder has a multitude of how to videos. as for the stock this is just 10 coats of good boild linseed oil and alfies shine wood wax. it will start out light in color then get darker the more sunlight it gets over the years

Does Kibler offer a double set trigger.

yes this one is a double set trigger but i tend to not use it on hunting guns

On my wish list when I can get more than nickels to rub together, a Kibler. I think his guns are the best for the money spent these days.
