Sig Sauer "P320 Nitron" 9mm Pistol

Спорт

The Sig Sauer P320 Nitron is a budget priced pistol that felt good to shoot, accuracy was acceptable but the pistol was shooting very low as seen in this review.

So much for uniform gun laws us special people in NSW aren’t allowed to have them 🤨

I've tried a Sig P228 and also shoots low. Same from a friend with P226. Some sights are designed for a combat sight picture. Cover the target with front post with the setup you have. 6 o'clock hold, or centre hold, is too low. Give it a try, hopes that helps. The Sig P320 was adopted by the US military as the M17. So were the older Sigs P228/P226. The military tend to use a 25 yard zero, which results in shooting low at closer ranges. May explain why the sights are that way. I don't like a combat hold, just explaining why.

I know this is an old video, but I had the same issue of shooting low when I got my 320 as well. My issue was the ammo. I was running Norma 124 gr and they always went low. I switched to PMC and S&B and it was always on target. Also keep in mind for Sigs the point of impact is the center of the front sight and not the top. Lastly, make sure your front and rear sights are marked with a number "8". If for whatever reason they are marked with a number "6", that would make it shoot low as well.

Shooting low like that is usually an indicator that you’re anticipating your recoil and flinching a minuscule amount. You’re then stringing shots left in a subconscious effort to compensate for it. Nothing a bit of practice can’t fix

We’ve been hearing of many instances where these Sigs have been firing off a round when holstering or coping very minor bumps or knocks . Jarrod from Guns and Gadgets made a video around 4 months ago about all the law suits that have recently been filed against Sig , I think there are at least 100 individual cases . Police officers have had their pistols go off just by getting into their patrol car seats . There is I believe a case where the pistol fired off a round when the seat belt in the car rubbed against the pistol. Many people have been shot in their legs as a result of these pistol going off just by holstering it .

That law suit is for pistols made before August 8 2017. The ones since then have been upgraded to mitigate the issue.

What state? Each state is probably different. Qld you have to fill out a form. QP515 I think it is. It is a request to Weapons licencing to join a pistol club. Once approved you join a pistol club. I am with Shooters Union. You have to be a member of the pistol club for 6 months and 1 day. You have to do a safety course during that time. You also have to record a minimum of 3 shoots at a pistol range. Once that is all done you send that off to your pistol club representative and they give you a certificate which you then include with your application to weapons licensing. Pay your fees and play the waiting game.

I’m in Victoria, I got my provisional licence in April, then Covid. So I’m stuck trying to get my comp shoots in. You can apply for the 6 or 12 month provisional. Go for the 12. Otherwise if you don’t complete your training/competition shoots etc within the given timeframe, that’s it mate. No pistol licence for you. Ever.
