Sig P320 X-Carry | A Modular Marvel
This is my build of the Sig Sauer P320. The market for customization up front has come a long way. The modularity of the P320 platform allows you to build what you want from scratch to save money, and keep from having leftover parts that you'll never use again. Build list is as follows:

Frame: X-Carry LXG
Slide: ZEV Z320 Octane
Compensator/Barrel: Parker Mountain Machine Micro JTTC
Recoil Spring: DPM Recoil Reduction System

Takedown Lever: Sig Gas Pedal
BUIS: Strike Industries Suppressor Height Sights
Optic: Trijicon SRO

I’ve been rocking with my xcompact for a little over 2 years and I’ve gotta say I’ve been loving shooting it at the range also what I was looking for in size and feel for a carry pistol great gun out of the box

Agreed! I have the xcompact and the M18 and I love shooting with them and carrying them. But I did make one major change to them both to make them perfect for me and that's Wilson combat grips module
After moving to Sig, I have never looked back. They just keep killing it.

I just checked out the Legion x-5 today. now i see this video and am impressed by the quality and story telling. sub well deserved
One of nicest 320's I've seen. Nice work!
Glad to see more content from you my dude! I know you want that flushed compensator and slide, but I like what you have as it gives it a nicer silhouette.
If you want flush, you can get a Mischief Machine commander grip module that’s made for the PMM barrel and comp, or you can just cut down a full size grip and bevel it to look just like the factory one. Or you can go with the Fdez P320 compact com’p slide and 3.6” barrel. It would look great both ways. The Mischief Machine grip module is full aluminum with a steel locking lug and more of a 1911 grip angle. Check em out 👍🏻 you could also rock the TLR-7 sub with the Antimatter Industries 1913 micro wing if you want a really nice gas pedal/ thumb throttle that’ll fit in regular holsters.
Great Video, thank you for making it. I am a huge P320 fan and have been since they first came out, which means that my first two P320s had to go back for the “voluntary upgrade.” I currently have five of them. My last one I build from spare parts. I had enough parts from all the upgrades that I did to the other four guns that with the purchase of an FCU I was able to assemble another complete gun. As someone who worked for the Army for over 43 years (21 Active Duty) and has some knowledge of the military procurement system, I can tell you that Sig won the contract for three reasons. First was reliability. When the testing was over [only] Sig and Glock were left standing. FN was a close third followed by Beretta. The second reason, and most important reason, Sig was the [only] manufacturer that provided a gun that met the specifications in the bid announcement for a “modular” and configurable handgun. Lastly, was price. Sig’s price was almost 40% less than Glock. If the Army had not been so insistent on a manual safety [or] Glock had been willing to absorb the cost for retooling to make a manual safety gun, Glock would have gotten the contract. For the record, the U.S. military has a contract with Glock, as due DHS, DOJ, and several cabinet departments. Glock is the primary sidearm for most special operation units across all services. The Army really wanted the Glock and would have compromised on the “modularity” requirements, but they wouldn’t compromise on the manual safety, thus, they couldn’t justify the cost difference. While it is not known for sure, it is rumored that FN actually had a lower price, but the guns didn’t perform well enough in the end.

I have a similar build but I used a full size frame that i cut down with a scroll saw and polished with dremel. That’s the only other option I think, if you want a flush look.

I did the same thing. I went with a Wilson combat full size grip module and cut the frame so my setup (3.9” with the PMM comp) can sit flush. I’m happy with it
I've been thinking about putting a gas pedal on my FN 509c Tactical. Your Sig is AMAZING 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great video, I built an Icarus Precision P365 xl, with a Norosso P365 X slide and a Parker Mountain Machine Micro comp. WIth the comp, it took about 750-1000 rounds to get it broken in where it shot reliably. Now Ive been running it for about 2.5 years and it is a tack driver. Breaking them in is the key. Nice build.
The X-Compact 3.6 Slide will give you the flush look you want.

Dude good to see you again. Been a while. Just wanna say you video with the Glock 45 modes is what got me to get my permit to carry and even bought the Glock 45 as my first gun ever. I almost have it similar to yours. Just need that short fire light and that undercut.
J-Body, need to put the Radian Ramjet Afterburner on that G45. Great video. Glad to see you back at it.
Honestly I just couldn't be happier with all three of my x carry pistols. I do like the spectre grip the best though.
I bet this gun is over $1000. Definitely out of my budget range, still looks like a nice gun.
Yessirr more great content😎💯
Great Vid, Thanks for showing Gas Pedal brand thumb assist. Many other holsters fit as well and easy mod as well
Finally bringing more content.. LOVE THIS for you man. Great video editing too.
Had a Glock for years. Picked up the XMACRO and holy shit. Perfect ergonomics and perfect grip and I can shoot it so easily. My wife jsut got one, and she hasn’t shot since pre Covid. She was tagging bulls eye. With the Glock all over the place. This is the new status quo
This edit was sick, although I’m a Glock guy I’ve been thinking of building a P320. PMM comps for the win also!
Yes! More content dude! Sidenote... I'm just gonna have you build my firearms for me from now on. Sound good? Cool. 😂
Really underestimated them and make great edc's too. Thanks again for the vid.😎
Beautiful pistol 🔫
For a flush look get the full-size frame with full size dust cover and chop it to the size of your slide and comp. There are vids on how to do it.
Glad to see you back! Great video as always. Looking forward for you to review P320 AXG PRO or AXG LEGION.
Great to see a new video from you

Fantastic review.
How much did that build set you back ? I have a factory X carry and love it . Was very skeptical with all the accidental discharge rumors . I recently dropped it by accident in a holster about waist high . It hit a hard concrete surface and passed the accidental discharge test in my book . I was scared shitless when it fell and hit the ground . I usually am very careful with handeling firearms all humans make mistakes at some point . Needless to say no misfire happend .

Great video, great presentation. 👍
Rolled through the comments and didn’t see anything, you have to buy a X full length grip module and cut it down. No one makes a 4.1” grip module since 3.9 is carry and 4.7 is full.
@Jeff-uw7sx

Or just an x full frame with a Harrington arms comp. Without cutting anything.
Great video, inspired me to start my own build!
He’s back!
Best bet for a pmm flush comp. Run a sub compact slide and get the jttc mushi compensator. Icarus precision has a 365 xmacro for a full sized option with a pmm comp already installed

Great shout out to Boise Idaho! I also shop at stockpile.
My build is damn near the same, except I have the Icarus precision x carry frame, an apex trigger, a 508t and tlr1 hl! Shoots like a dream!!
I have an Xcompact Zev P320 build with a WC grip plus Gas Pedal. LOVE IT. I plan on getting a Zev slide for my G19 but that shit is always sold out.
The last thing i want to see at the end of my barrel is the front sight. Not an additional length of any compensator.
I’ve seen someone use a full size frame and cut it to flush fit the 3.6 slide with PMM comp. Just an idea.
sig makes a full size length x series grip module that should give you that flush look your lookin for great video and nice lookin build my man!
I have the gas pedal on mine and no issues and nothing extra done to my holsters. All my holsters are appendix carry by teir1 concealed. Currently I'm using the msp by teir 1 and I can swap between my p320s and glock 45 and others just using a flashlight.. msp holster uses the flashlight to lock in so I'm running the tlr1hl streamlight. Check em out I have several holsters by teir 1 and I'll never use another company for holsters
3.6” sub-compact with a PMM micro is a flush fit in a carry size frame
i still carry my rxp xcompact and its a beauty
you could get the full-size frame and cut it slightly longer than the x-carry size
It looks like you put a compact slide on a Xcarry grip. My Xcarry grip is flush with my Xcarry slide. Now as far as running a flush comp I think you'll have to get a full size grip module and put a bigger comp on like a dual port one. Agency arms makes one that is a little longer on the single port but it would look kind of funny where the recoil spring comes out sitting on the grip.
The only flush pmm builds are a Carry size 3.9 with the gen 2 jttc or the sub compact 3.6 with the ultra jttc.
Unfortunately, I don’t believe there is a compensator made that would sit flush but if you’re willing to get the work done on a frame, I would get a full size frame and cut it down so that it sits flush with that compensator on there but in my opinion I think it looks awesome just like that
Great video, nice looking pistol. Glad to see content from you.
I too wanted that flush look, and after a lot a research the only that I found to make that happen is to get a fill size frame and cut it down to size. I would rather not have to do all that work but i havent come up with anything else
I’m doing this EXACT build just a different slide. What side holster do I need. IWB KYDEX. Would it be. X CARRY size???
If I am not mistaken, the standard p320 grip module and the regular size pmm comp will have a flush look.
Better watch out bro I hear them shits like to retaliate against their owners and spontaneously combust 🤣 just playin, nice build!

Question.. so I just built a compact size with 3.9 threaded barrel I put a DPM also. I tried all 3 but every other round it jams or doesn’t go back to battery… is that some of the issues you also had? Just wondering since you didn’t touch on what they were. Also would you recommend to just keep shooting till I break it in?
How does the SRO work with the x carry? Does the case hit the body of the SRO?
Cool content and subscribed
Great build ! Im actually in the process of a similar build. Im kinda new to the game…Question, did you get the sub compact or compact combo from pmm ?
@principle caliber ….. so I pretty much got everything you did to do my build but for whatever reason when I got the jttc micro comp it does not fit properly. There is a gap, did you order a compact barrel or the sub compact barrel for your build? I just do t know where I went wrong. Any advice?
Exactly what I want to build, but I also want that flush fit. I will just get a full-size frame and trim it. My 320 X Compact slide and Harrington Arms comp are 100% flush on a full frame. Specifically, I have the Icarus Precision Socom Full module, and it's very impressive.

Hi Principle Caliber, I appreciate your content! I was wondering, what would you recommend for an EDC (concealed) for a right handed guy with an almost blind left eye (lazy eye) but good right eye vision that conceals well, doesn't have too much recoil, and I can actually aim well (and quickly). I currently have a Springfield XD Mod2 4" 9mm, OEM. I love the grip on it, it's like it was built for my hands. However, the iron sights I've trained on I do "well" on for my eye sight condition but I know I could do better; it's very difficult for me and takes way too much time to aim for an accurate shot; also the size was very hard for me to conceal and was not comfortable. I've been thinking a Glock 43X MOS, with some kind of modifications to fit my needs/condition. Thoughts? Much appreciated! Keep up the great posts!
Nice do you have it your edc rotation?
Arc reactor just came out p320 slide with build-in comp
Just a question, how come the frame is longer than the slide? I really like the looks of it. If i want this set up which frame do i need to get? Looking to upgrade my ca320
Nice setup What size is the slide, is it a 3.9 or 3.6 thanks
3.6" slide will give ya flush fit
Pretty sweet till you find out the thread pitch is different then most red dot screws, don’t know why they decided this dumb ass decision but oh well. Ordered new screws just hoping they work
