When I asked Sietze to demonstrate the reeds on the Groningen Martinikerk organ he added some extra stops and played this wholly uplifting piece of jollity by Praetorius. Simply marvellous!

What a great sounding organ!
It's somehow strange to hear it without Kalina's percussions 😀, but the CD is on the shelf next to me and this version taken directly from console is also very interesting. Many thaks for sharing!
This is the 'Courante' from Praetorius his 'Suite de danses' (1612)
I enoyed that. Danke.
One hears where Handel got some inspiration for part of his hallelujah chorus. Anyone else hear this? Lovely recording. Dank je wel.

Het tertsplenum van het Martiniorgel is geweldig!

I love this piece and this organ. It’s a shame you don’t seem to get much of sense of the organ speaking into that fabulous acoustic space from the loft.
Schitterend die rauwe klank van de stevige tongwerken dichtbij.
